Hello guys, hows your Note 8.0 battery life performing? I'm only getting about 4~5 hours SOT with WiFi no sim card with Greenify and processor speed capped to 1.2GHz instead of 1.6Ghz cuz I don't use to for gaming, wonder is it normal?

Anyway mainly bought it because I love the S-Pen, if only other tablet got such useful stylus cuz not a fan of Samsung.

just use taobao, lots of choice and so much cheaper.

Even with the agent forwarding fee and postage, an original type flip case only cost around RM30 while people in lowyat plaza selling at atleast RM50.

Was skeptical about the N5100 battery life since it only have 4600mAH battery.

Now that I have bought it, it seems my worries are confirmed.

I'm running CivZ-FLEX-BEAM-REV3.6.2 ROM.

Installed and have greenify running. Not using any sim card, only using it on WiFi, even off the WiFi before I off the screen.

Even use underclock to 1.2Ghz cuz only used for normal browsing, nothing intense that require more power.

Is this normal? Or is it my battery has significantly degraded? Cuz I bought this 2nd hand 8 months old, now 9 or 10 months already.

Now considering should I replace the battery or just get a powerbank to help.

1. no rumor of a new version of Note8, so if u think the price is right then go for it.

2. Note4 and Note8 screen size very big difference, Note8 is a proper tablet which not as portable to bring around compared to a phablet. As for battery life if u do everything on the Note4, I think the Note4 battery should be quite long lasting, otherwise there's always power bank to back your device up.

awwww... really? it's the only small tablet with stylus..

Best light weight and thin cover is the original flip book cover from Samsung, u can get the replica version from Taobao at cheap price.

Anyway an advice for buying case is avoid buying one with magnetic back cover. Cuz it'll interupt the usage of the s-pen at the area close to the magnet(ie can't draw in a straight line)

anything just as long as no magnet on the backcover cuz it'll interfere with the usage of the s-pen

the only small size tablet with great stylus and mutiwindow, really hope there's a successor to it though.

better change device, this tablet ancient already.

The replacement has been around for 2 or 3 years already. haha even the replacement also consider old, this model considered antic already.
