yup.. that is a normal odin guide... just follow it well... if you had used odin before... its wont give any problem.

anyway the sound mod success... but i just change the bluetooth sound area...

Yeah..my SPen working without problem.
There some user that says their multi windows features got problem after updating 4.2.2 via OTA.
I do think a factory reset solve that problem.

I really love the tablet. The experience on it is beyond what I had expected. It's just, the exterior of it is really ugly if naked lol but now its ugliness is hidden well beneath a flip case... and if only it came with a FHD screen and LTE.. those are the only drawbacks of it.

Wait for next year Note 8.0 (2nd edition) then..lolz

ya man. and 8" is really good for a tab. 7" is too small, while 10 is too big for me. Note 8 2nd Gen must have at least the appearance of current S4. Bezels too large la with this. Looks ugly seriously lol I don't know how many times I've mentioned that it's ugly but the experience is seriously good!
haha ya rooted right after updating via Odin yesterday. Rooting is a must for me.

Tablet need quite big bezel otherwise your hand will be holding the screen instead of its bezel

the only time the device is not root was from the shop to the house...

Anyway... did any of you guys into custom... there are some good one... e-robot

another mod to try. its for note 2 but i have test it on note 8 and it just work fine. need root. can enable/disable certain features.

3) I usually put it in my bag cuz I'm a college student, but normal coat pocket could fit well for the tablet
4) I only see White color in Malaysia
5) For multiwindows problem normal factory reset will do, though I didn't face this problem after I update
For the spen calibration problem, if you face this problem you will have to revert back to 4.1.2

haha, I choose note 8 mainly is because of its spen function , really convenient to take notes in uni.
other than the pen, I also like its screen size, not too big like 10' but not too small like 7' , exactly ok for one hand holding too

the downside of this tablet is that the design is so so so ugly
