Flashing anything with cwm does not increase the count. Odin is a different story.

If you are on stock and flash a custom recovery, the counter will increase. Once the custom recovery is installed and you flash any zip flash cia custom recovery the counter won't increase.

Tested using buffalo 500GB and WD 750GB 3.0 and it works without using external power, but battery drain quite fast. As it is NTFS, it requires rooting and NTFS mounter (I use Paragon), haven't tried exFAT, maybe supported directly?

but we cant flash stock firmware via custom recovery right. .tar files are flash via odin only??. i mean zip files are meant to flash in custom recovery but not odin??

yes, for stock firmware you can use PC Odin or Mobile Odin. For me I always use Mobile Odin.

well same here it takes about 2 sec or so to wake up from deep sleep....I think its normal gua...
