You are wrong. Avast anti theft can be use with unrooted phone. Just it will not survive factory reset.

Thanks, ya, at first I was kinda scared that I've updated to 4.1.2. Battery life is still great, though I feel that it drops faster. Weird, haha.. Not using auto brightness, always set to 50%. On stock rom, unrooted.
Best phone ATM brows.gif My dad owns a Note 1. Made me jealous of the screen size when I still own Xperia S. doh.gif

U make a wise choice.. now ur note 2 shinner than ur dad.. rclxms.gif

Me put on Auto mode for brightness.

Yes, anti-theft can be use on unrooted phones. i tried on s3 and note 2. It works like charm.
Can pin point the location with google earth background. Give it a try. thumbup.gif

Perhaps time to check your GPS chip
This type of thing should not happen under normal situations
I faced such issues before on my previous HTC n motherboard was replaced
Those proposals to use 3rd party apps is unnecessary for a good functional GPS. I never see need to use such apps till now

GPS chip ?? waaa~~ what's wrong with my phone ...never drop also cry.gif

Too bright! Taking good care on my sight brows.gif
Watching movies most of the time on Note 2, can't be exposed to that level of brightness.

Is it ok not to register/create and account with Avast? In lazy Saturday-mode.
Yeah, but the reason my dad bought Note 1 last time because of his sight is getting poorer as he gets older.
He doesn't have any urge to change to Note 2 for the RAMs or better battery. Note 1 still is decent enough for him.

And I kept on having the thoughts (before I got Note 2), "I paid RM1899, and my screen is smaller than his phone?".
Sangat tak patut.

There's a file called gpsd.conf or something that sets the location of the nearest satellites. I don't know how to edit it but you can check some gurus on xda.

Maybe your phone is now experiencing a paradoxical state about its identity??  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

Please don't torture your phone anymore, set it free from its jail........

Yes, it's fine without registration. But for the anti-theft, u need to register. u can monitor multiple phone and pc with just one account.

The battery life and quadcore performance really worth the RM1899.
Well, the screen size, still acceptable with longer view.
