Just wan to share, After using BetterBatteryStats, i got better battery life now. Since i unplugged it from charge was ysterday 4pm, i use it for data also- fb, download from store and etc..(not continuously la) untill now.And i left it on before sleep, and this morning 8am i just discover drop 2% only before i slept last night at 12am.
here is my screenshot...and note that i am using 4.2.1 stock rom and kernel.

If you are only installing BBS and not doing anything else according to the stats, then it's not BBS that help you with that. BBS is not an app to help you save battery. It's an app to see what is actually hogging up your battery.

Still help you "Identifies" instead of help your phone going to deep sleep IMO.

hmmm really...i know the stats will show the usage of what i am using...but before i use it...my battery drop for 10% ++...but last night just drop 2%...this is quite a suprise....hmm so i am wondering...

It's something else, definitely not BBS that helps. BBS is only representing the data from batteryinfo service in Android in a way.

Maybe just a placebo or you did close certain app/ restart phone
that clean up the service/app that hog the processes.

haha...hmm followed by u guys explained...then this apps should not be able to save my battery. On the other hand, this app usage is just showing the statistic only...

Because wan to test the difference, i am clearing all the cache and apps before i went to sleep for both nights...

maybe i am too nervous to share lol..i will wait and test more days and see how will going on...

You may inspect few more days to see, if you clear all cache & apps
and it does help in improving your battery life during idle, i'm sure BBS
can help you identify culprit app/service that causing wakelog

yes exactly, when i recommended BBS, i recommended on using it to track your battery usage and use the data to analyze what is consuming the battery.

it is a well detailed data, and you'll definitely find your culprit with it!

my desire z went from 3%/h drain to 0.2%/h

i have not done any optimization on my N4 yet (trying to patch OpenPdroid into the ROM first)
