I hv the Panasonic Lumix FX-01 and I hv to say that OIS is not the cure-all, blur-free solution that it's all hyped up to be. Sure, it helps but if u got real shaky hands, no super OIS is going to give u clear pictures. Similarly, ppl hv been taking photos without OIS for ages and u still get breathtaking results. U just hv to learn the techniques to keep the camera steady.

If I hv to choose between OIS and good quality high ISO, I will still choose the latter anytime.

One thing the F30 doesn't hv though is wide-angle.. and FX-01 clinched the deal for me on this feature alone.

That's the thing about Fuji... real horrible marketing. Although they hv got damn good cameras in F10, F11 and F30, ask anybody who is not a camera enthusiast and chances are, he/she would not hv heard of them.

I am afraid this is a worldwide marketing problem. Not just Fuji Malaysia. Doubt complaining to FM would do much good.

I say it's all up to you... If you want a good, quick, and long life camera which is versatile enough to shoot in different (low light) conditions, this is the one. If you want something flashy or super compact, choose the others.

I'm a f30 owner for one week and I can say it certainly lives up to all the hype and expectations.
