Usually I'll start downloading demos before I go to bed, and by the morning it'll be done.

I am not sure about the graphics upgrade but it seems like alot better, especially the framerate. Smoother..hmm.

Oh, how do i get to the shivering isle???

According to IGN, you need to rest your character for 24 hours before the island will appear.

Or maybe it's been a long time neva started this game edi... so things look good cuz of that...

BTW, does anyone know how do i remove all the negative buff on my character? The enemy drain all my strength, endurance, personality etc etc but i have no idea how to restore it (yes, since Oblivion original version)
Usually i just know how to remove it by going to the Church & pray....but the problem is, i can't find any church in Shivering Isles.

So....???

I don't know how long it took me to finish the game but, it's definitely the length of an expansion game.
Now i still got tons of Side-quest to solve in Shivering Isles.

If you love Oblivion, 2400 MS is...kinda worth the price.
If you are just casual Oblivion player...hmm, no.

There are also quite abit of replayability in Shivering Isles because you get to choose the path of the Mania, or the D....something something (i got problem with names)
That's why i still got one more Achievement haven't unlock eventhough i finished the game.

Since the released day till today, I have been downloading the add-on. The highest percentage of completion I reached is 70+% than it resets to 0%! Getting extremely frustrated with downloading it already! I even had to risked switching my Xbox on for more than 24 hours, unattended! However everytime when I come home from work, I would discover that the download had stopped! When I restart it, some how or rather will still go back to 0%! Dunno what I am doing wrong?

Sorry for my rant, but would anyone here know of anyway or methods of ensuring that the download from Xbox live does not reset itself to 0% when the line disconnects and continue where it left out? Oh, another strange thing is that I have no problem at all downloading demos, TV shows from the US site using my US gamer ID even in excess of 1 gig, but sometimes I faced this prob on my Sg account!

For those who have purchased Shivering Isles, are you required to sign in into Xbox Live to play the expansion pack? Can you play Shivering Isles without signing into Xbox Live?

The reason I ask is because a friend of mine want to hand me his Xbox 360's HDD so I can access his Xbox Live account and download Shivering Isles to his HDD on my Xbox 360 console. He asks for my help because the connection at his place was pretty bad.

If I'm not mistaken, Xbox Live Arcade games have some security checks where Xbox Live Arcade games can only be played without signing to Xbox Live on the console where it is downloaded. If it was played on the console where the game was originally downloaded, then the gamer have to sign-in into Xbox Live with the account used to purchase the game every single time he wants to play.

Does this apply to Shivering Isles as well?

If you're required to sign-in to play Shivering Isles and can't play without signing-in, then I guess I can download it for him, because no matter on which console he's playing, he's still required to sign-in anyway. If he can play without-signing in, then I'll ask him to bring along his console.

I will give it a try later. I am not sure, sometimes this thing are a pain in the ass. Last time i download a music video by using my hdd on my friend xb360. Later on when i bring it back to my xb360, i can't play the content anymore

i remember piling crap into the cheapest house u can get in Oblivion and wanted to fill it to the roof with crap, and by crap i mean:- armour, gems, jugs, weapons, more gems, bones, flowers, herbs, meat,pearls, torches...etc etc
until when i entered the house, the game lagged like crazy, nevertheless, i never achieved what i wanted to do

Guys, my damn copy of Oblivion is officially dead... well, half dead actually. It came to a point where it cant load my lastest save and pop out the dirty disc error message. Tried using the toothpaste method, I guess I have probably took the wrong step, it actually made the situation even worse.

There are some slight scratches appeared on the disc after I have encountered my frist 3ROD while playing Oblivion. Since then, no longer my Xbox is able to display the title screen properly (which shows the map of Cyrodill) and only appears like a corrupted screen with weird colors. however, I am still able to load and play my game just fine by that time. Only the dirty disc message would pop out occasionally. Last night it has became worse... now it keeps pop out the dirty disc message when it loads to half way. tried the clear cache method and still no use.

I'm super pissed with my Xbox now. It is such a lousy machine (though with great games). Those Americans should have learn from japanese on how to build a quality console.

Anyways... if anyone willing to let go of their copy of Oblivion. Please PM me for the price and your disc conditions. Thanks!

Same thing happened to me, but I managed to fix it using the toothpaste+hairgel method.
Did you simply put toothpaste on the disc and wipe it or what?
