QUOTE(Hitman190 @ Dec 22 2006, 08:10 PM) Hey where's my free stuff??? Is it region locked??? I mean is this deal exclusive for the US or what??? *Like the original release, this is not available in Mexico, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy or Japan. Doesn't sound like it's not available to Singapore. Maybe you're checking the Marketplace too early? I think they mean 22nd December North American's time.

Oblivion's expansion pack, Shivering Isles is going to be released tomorrow. It's estimated to have an additional 30-40 hours of gameplay.
Anybody's going to buy it? It's kinda expensive for me, 2400 MS Points (~ RM 103.58); Almost the price of a full version Asian Xbox 360 game.

Anybody know if Shivering Isles will be available to Singapore Xbox Live member? AFAIK, Shivering Isles Theme & Gamer Picture is not available in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore or Taiwan. Does this mean that Shivering Isles won't be available for download to Xbox Live accounts registered on the countries listed above?

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Shivering Isles (Now Available)Name: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Shivering Isles Price: 2400 Points Availability: Not Available in Japan Dash Details: Play the official expansion for Oblivion - the 2006 RPG and Game of the Year. Shivering Isles features more than 30 hours of new gameplay as you are sent to explore the realm of Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness. Shivering Isles adds to the existing world of Oblivion, so you can continue playing with your existing save game/character, or create an all-new character just to explore the new content in Shivering Isles. New quests, creatures, weapons, armor, ingredients, and more await in the land of Mania and Dementia. Size: 993.75 MB (approx.) Yay! It's available to Singapore Xbox Live Member after all. I saw the expansion pack on Singapore Marketplace, the weird thing is they didn't mark is under "New Releases" so I couldn't found it under "New Releases". I have to go to "All Game Downloads -> Oblivion" before I could find it. The bad thing is I only have 500 MS Points right now.

QUOTE(PrivateJohn @ Mar 27 2007, 10:05 AM) I am downloading it...heard that it will upgrade the visual effect too. Oh, it'll be great if it's true. QUOTE(Hitman190 @ Mar 27 2007, 10:25 AM) And if PJ were downloading the expansion pack here in Malaysia, it might take about a month or so.... Usually I'll start downloading demos before I go to bed, and by the morning it'll be done.

@PJ. How long does it take for you to finish Shivering Isles? I'm considering purchasing the game if it's long enough.

For those who have purchased Shivering Isles, are you required to sign in into Xbox Live to play the expansion pack? Can you play Shivering Isles without signing into Xbox Live?
The reason I ask is because a friend of mine want to hand me his Xbox 360's HDD so I can access his Xbox Live account and download Shivering Isles to his HDD on my Xbox 360 console. He asks for my help because the connection at his place was pretty bad.
If I'm not mistaken, Xbox Live Arcade games have some security checks where Xbox Live Arcade games can only be played without signing to Xbox Live on the console where it is downloaded. If it was played on the console where the game was originally downloaded, then the gamer have to sign-in into Xbox Live with the account used to purchase the game every single time he wants to play.
Does this apply to Shivering Isles as well?
If you're required to sign-in to play Shivering Isles and can't play without signing-in, then I guess I can download it for him, because no matter on which console he's playing, he's still required to sign-in anyway. If he can play without-signing in, then I'll ask him to bring along his console.
