yeah. i think devs wants the character to walk out like real person would. you cant do a uturn immediately in both gta 5 and w3. its very annoying. i prefer player movement like dark souls.

using gtx 770 2gb, at low settings 1440p, fps hovering around 20-40. turn down the res to 1080p, i can play it with high settings (with no hairworks) at 30-50 fps. thats a huge fps boost.

Well, they are optimizing to make the game look better AND perform better.

The New 1.03 patch sure boost performance very much. I get to keep my hairwork setting on TuT

where can get the witcher books? it's a book right? not graphical comic...
is it available at Kinokuniya? or Borders?

Im already 40 hours game time, still havent meet triss yet for the main quest, been clearing the point of interest, except for the places below fyke isle, there are too many level 10+ monster in groups there. Im level 15 currently.

I am just asking though that what u guys think who sold more Witcher 3 GOG or steam?

Dunno, if other countries get low price but region restricted like steam sure steam will sell more. Gog is expensive.

Wah I around 25 hours already meet Triss. Maybe because I wanna meet her
I cleared quite a lot of side quest though, maybe you cleared more lol
I like the freedom of letting us choose any quest we wanna play. That's really nice.

Patch 1.03
1.Solves 970m dipped. Its running ultra/high combo with no hairworks. Fps 40-70s
2.Gsync lowers the fps a bit
3.Steam still syncs graphic settings between my desktop n laptop.

Fps gain on laptop abit but none on desktop.

After playing longer now. Game is beut. Very well done graphically. But the combat system is silly.

Played 3 hours this morning with 1.03 patch, stability wise the game is pretty much similar to 1.02. I have seen that the inventory crash has not been fixed yet.

Hairworks performs marginally better, not enough to make it entirely playable yet, unless you want to lock to 30fps. They did not change the AA for hairworks though, it's still the same.

Cutscenes are definitely a lot less stuttery though, it's still not fixed completely yet. Disabling ubersampling for Cutscenes is still recommended.

Using 770. The only thing I noticed so far is cutscenes are little bit better, no stutter. fps increased a little bit and I suppose it consumes less since I feel my pc doesn't get as hot as it was before the update

the notice board has requirement for army or something? u guys took it? does it really make Geralt a soldier or something?
