CD Projekt Red's Adam Kiciński has sent out an email to staff apologizing for saying the crunch is "not that bad".
https://twitter.com/jasonschreier/status/13...2115151873?s=19 Cyberpunk 2077 is "ready for PC", per most embarrassing investor call of all time https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2020/10/29...ll-of-all-time/ https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-bull...2-into-january/ QUOTE Yesterday, Grinding Gear Games delayed Path of Exile's 3.13 update to sometime in January, so players don't have to "choose between these two games," and today Rockfish Games announced that Everspace 2's planned Early Access release has also been pushed back. "Let’s get the cyber elephant out of the room right away: The Cyberpunk 2077 release has just been pushed back to December 10, which is a major blow to our planned Everspace 2 Early Access release in mid-December," the studio said in a Kickstarter update. "Not only will every media outlet and content creator cover the arguably most-anticipated AAA game in history throughout the entire holiday season (and not much else), we also know that there’s quite a bit of audience overlap within our community (and our team)." As a result, Everspace 2 will launch into Early Access sometime in January instead. "We are aware that Everspace 2 fans will be unhappy, but competing with the arguably most anticipated videogame in history is just not a good idea," Rockfish said in an email. QUOTE(pyre @ Oct 30 2020, 11:33 PM) CD Projekt Red's Adam Kiciński has sent out an email to staff apologizing for saying the crunch is "not that bad". The employers will give such comments almost all the times about its employees and in many cases they are right but in these case I am not sure. I was reading a post few days back where it was mentioned that the developers are working up to 100 hours a week to get to the game perfectly ready to release on 10 december for all the platforms. Sitting in front of a computer screen for 100 hours a week itself isn't easy, forget the complications with such large game. I really hope and wish that they get the game ready to release on the current announced date and the devs get the much deserved rest time.https://twitter.com/jasonschreier/status/13...2115151873?s=19 Cyberpunk 2077 is "ready for PC", per most embarrassing investor call of all time https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2020/10/29...ll-of-all-time/ https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-bull...2-into-january/ |

Just release it as open beta, I'm pretty sure most of us are more than willing to test them and provide feedback.
Paid user can test more stable beta or bleeding edge alpha. just like the windows insider build, aint too hard isn't it? |

alot of hype on this game, releasing earlier as beta/unfinished might be bad. player expectation, entitlement, drama. remember no man sky? anthem? then the reviews come, sales tak capai, reputation gone. kek.

Yes, no need to release any beta version. I am pretty happy that they will only release the game once it is 100% ready for all platforms.anyway bought the game adi, pls take more of my money. |
