For my case I only played FF7- FFX-2. I start playing the FF9 first, FF8 then FF7. My choices is based on those I've played.

The best storyline is FF9 for me. This is the first FF i play The only complain is wth must they make the character so short? Vivi is an exception. He is perfectly fine being short

The best gameplay - FF8/ FFX cannot decide reason - easy too understand

FF7 is ok-ok for me. I like it but not as much as the 2 above.

I dun like FFX-2. Like some ppl here said; tukar2 baju game, abit girly for me. Main characters all girls. Honestly I try not to play FFX-2 in front of my family . Some more they all like wearing skimpy clothings really The only reason I play is because I want to know the story. i couldn't get the 100% thing. Lazy to start over again.

Best FF hero: I think squall is quite ok except that he becomes way too 'jiwang' later in the game

Best FF villain: Sephiroth. Really have the macho look

Best heroine: Rinoa

Best character: I like Auron. I like his skills and way

Worst character: Dunno.... If I can think of someone I'll wrote it down

Annoying character: I think Zell is quite annoying at times but he is very strong in the game

Favourite FF song: FF8 eyes on me. But if overall I like the the FF9 music more

becuase its intentionally old skool. its like the pre FF7 games, except in 3D.

are skimpy clothes such a bad thing? or are your family members more of the conservative type?

heck,this i truly agree upon..theres no other than him..if u play kingdom hearts 2,notice his ultra long sword when cloud approaches him =.=" length is 2times cloud's sword...

to me its ff10>ff9>ff7>ff6>ff8,decending order..heh

well cant do anything but to agree that sephiroth is the best villian....
but.....spehiroth=macho?.........thats something new to think about....

He (Sephiroth) has the package of a villain..cool and dark, quiet and wicked and all..though other character can be more cool than him..

for me , i prefer ff8.Slightly a big improvement from ff7.

Well, for ff7 the characters is quite tall. Only in short movies and gameplay they look short. FF9 however they make the characters all short. Even the posters

Skimpy is bad for me. Plus their dress doesn't look that nice anyway especially riku's clothes. Her dressing looks better in FFX. At time also they act like charlie's angel really annoys me and I hate charlie's angel to begin with

For dressing I think FF7 and FF8 look best. Btw Tifa really chun in FF7:AC

@tsubasa: About sephiroth is he really made himself look good with his super long katana sort of like samurai look. He is macho before he become bad guy! Later on really, really evil Really sad to see Aeris die...

i thought the definition of macho is like~~~Joey from "Friends".....XD

charlie's angles huh..that is the right word of putting it..

anyway, it is so surprising to me that being short and tall does have effect on a quality of video game. after giving a thought, that is can be considered a factor after all. just imagine a beautiful character in a film is acted by someone not-so-beautiful...it'll be less appealing right?

i wonder, how can i play FFVI in the first place (if i have a thought that Celes is just a few pixel of scrappy animation..)

That's why I never really give a thought about the voice actor anyways.Dowan to imagine also As long as they did the job well, fine with me. And yeah, rikku have one annoying voice too I guess I don't like rikku that much...

btw I heard that the Japanese audio is much more better than the english version...is it true? I'm not surprise if it is. Those japanese ppl are very good at voice acting.

Some of them do have pretty face eg. Ayumi Ito - play Tifa's voice

at least Yuna's japanese voice sounds better the english..it reflects her soft nature. the english intonation was too plain just like being read from the script..

totally agree with you on yuna's jap voice actor^_^
btw...Loz's eng voice actor in america version of Advent Children is totally weird...XD.......

hehe, i watched the japanese ones...never watched the dubbed. but, i never liked watching dubbed version of any show.

i wonder why square-enix bothered putting the english voice when the can just shorten the translation by just doing the texts and leave the japanese voice intact. in many games i played, i only came 2 games that came with the original japanese voice (and english texts).

well.....i guess it's the regional pride...or something like that....XD....
anyway speaking of Advent Children.....do anyone noticed that Yuffie and Rikku's faces are identical?the only different is the hair.....lol...

well, never noticed that before. Furthermore, Yuffie's appearance is too llittle to be noticed~as well as everybody else. IMHO, Advent Children could've been a lot better. It's nice and it closes the story FFVII never be able to finish but I am a bit disappointed to wait so many years only to have a story so shallow.

but, Last Order is suprisingly good despite nearly zero publisity and all. it takes a short time frame of FFVII that never had been told in details and it turn out good. maybe, advent children should be a series/mini series.

well Advent Children is not the end of the FFVII epic story...the last one are suppose to be Crisis Core for the PSP.....btw izzit out yet?either way i dont have a psp so there's no way i can play it.....XD

no, i dont think it's out yet. however, i dont own PSP and never will..heading out for NDS. PSP games are confusing and does not really interest me. i am looking more casual games which i can spend time on but does not require commitment. because i have my commitment for PS2 games.

but with FFIII coming DS, it seems squareenix is trying to re-enter their own platform (nintendo) market. good enough..i am sure, many nintendo owner are hungry for FF like in the old days.

Is there a dub version of AC? I hope it doesn't sound crap Most dubs are crappy anyways.

I think the Last order was great. Btw how did you play with FFX with japanese voice? Is there an option for it?
