it still depends on how you evaluate them. though i still insist that it's good...very good. but it was usually overwhelmed by crappy graphics. you wont believe how hard to play a game with crappy 2d graphics nowadays. even a guy here (i think it's kueks) have a hard time playing FFVII; and that's only a 1997 game. just imagine FFVI is years behind it... but i think there's a reason...everybody has it.

i nonetheless, pray for you on your way to complete it and good luck.

but still it is hard for some people..especially in the era which graphics quality come first and the game itself later - even the game manufacturer arent making very good games nowadays.

if somebody could care less about the graphics...i think there'll be more gamers hanging around to old games rather than newer ones... tongue.gif

well, i am complete japanese illeterate..i guess the translation is all left for me. i cant stop thinking if i continue playing the japanese version, i wont be enjoying the game because when the english version is out, i already knew the work around of the game (no challenge). but it's hard to resist it when i already have the translation at hand..

one exception though...FF6, FF7 and FF9...i played both version without a fuss..maybe i can go play like that again in FFXII. oh btw tsubasa...what did you think of the game until this point of game? with a little japanese knowledge, i guess the story wont be a total loss for you, right?

FFXII tends to focus more on the chaotic world of Ivalice rather than only focusing on the story of the main character(Vaan) like what many previous FF series done....
example, the current cutscene are focusing on Ashe,Baflear(did i spell it wrong?),Brask(again did i spell it wrong?) cuz they're the ones that knows more about the world and discussing ways on how to defeat the Achedis Empire

that sounds a bit like FF: Tactics, except in FFXII, they had a premade characters. or, should i say, Vaan is like a protagonist who moved along Ashe, Balfear (and others) story? a story about defeating achedis is too shallow to be a final fantasy..though i say, it still possible if there's many twist in the process..

how many hours had you spent in the game?

that is quite a number of months...i wonder what they're up to. raising anticipation, improving the game itself, marketing, supply problems...

oh well, i don't mind waiting~if the end products worth the wait. i think, i'll just play the japanese version. if it's that good, i wont mind playing it twice, just like i did with FFVII.

and who knows..i'll get hang of japanese because of playing FFXII.. tongue.gif
