QUOTE(DarkNite @ Jul 4 2016, 02:48 PM) Wow ... thanks for the respond! I'm not looking at the fuel consumption. Use to have a Ford 1.8liter van before, so I understand hauling 8 blokes and expecting good FC doesn't make sense. How heavy is your tint for the back passenger areas? Any shades? I also gather this MPV needs additional door seal to reduce wind noise, is that correct? You definitely need safety tint since there are lots of glass on all four corners. For UV and well as safety protection. Window seal does not come with it be default, it is an add on. Don't think is is really needed More importantly, I think a good ICE with read view camera is required. Unfortunately, I don't like the one that I have added on that comes with Tan Chong. For something that cost RM3.5K, I'm pretty sure after market shop can give better quality

For your future reference, those ice and most car accessories cost is only 30% of the markup price.

Yes - a good ICE with rear view camera is needed! to keep my kids occupied on short/long journeys I took the normal highway star package and installed tint Raytech for Rm2k (can get lower around 1.8k if you join SHOC group) and then Dynavin HU (with mirrorlink but x GPS) + Roof monitor + rear camera for RM 2.2k

Hi everyone,
Planning to book a 2016 base model sometime next week. Any recommendations on the cheapest aftermarket head unit with reverse camera? No need for gps.

Hi all serena c26 owner, after much of reading this thread, i would like to summarize the problem occur so far:
1) power door cant be closed. 2) cvt jerking while slowing down. Probably due to the mechanism is designed to be like that. 3) 3rd row squeezing sound. 4) the car is quite bouncy which is more personal feeling.
Any other problems so far? Please correct me if the points i said is wrong.
Actually im interested in this car but scare of Tan Chong spare parts which is quite expensive. Ex owner of Sentra.

The tyres of my Serena S-Hybrid is due for replacement. Unfortunately, the 195/60R16 tyre is very rare in Malaysia and one manufecturer has it, i.e. stock Bridgestone tyres which are sucks.
Anyone has experience changing to other brands? what is the appropiate tyre sizes? I'm looking at Michellin XM2 or 3ST and the nearest size available is 205/60R16.

Maybe you can change to 205/55/R16 as this tyre size have many choices in market.

Any recommended accessory shop that does a fantastic job with ICE/reverse camera? Planning to get the Serena standard and install this item and tinting on my own.
Been looking around the web and can't seem to find good reviews on these accessory installers. Any help is good.
Thank you
