Hi there, I just got my car in June 2016 and managed to squeeze approx. 350km on my first full tank (with ECO mode and auto stop on, I anticipate the mileage to improve further after my first service this coming Friday)

This is my weekend car as my primary car is Preve which is also on CVT gearbox so quite use to how CVT gearbox perform.. and my serena so far so good...performing normal like a smooth buttery CVT car

Go get it if you have good discount! I got mine with 9k discount + full tank petrol + smart tag

I doubt so. Been using it 1.5 years. Never improve. Regardless whether you go RON 95 or RON 97. You may get moremileage if you are on long highway drive with ECO mode. ECO mode doesn't work in mix city + highway drive.

Basically we need to accept this car purpose is a people mover. Which it works great. Like the air-conditioning which is great even in the 3rd row.

I only which it can be a little spacious on the driver side.

Wow ... thanks for the respond!
I'm not looking at the fuel consumption. Use to have a Ford 1.8liter van before, so I understand hauling 8 blokes and expecting good FC doesn't make sense.
How heavy is your tint for the back passenger areas? Any shades?

I also gather this MPV needs additional door seal to reduce wind noise, is that correct?
*
You definitely need safety tint since there are lots of glass on all four corners. For UV and well as safety protection.

Window seal does not come with it be default, it is an add on. Don't think is is really needed

More importantly, I think a good ICE with read view camera is required. Unfortunately, I don't like the one that I have added on that comes with Tan Chong. For something that cost RM3.5K, I'm pretty sure after market shop can give better quality

Quick question. A friend got his Serena recently.. when he idles in a jam.. the aircond isn't cold.. is this common for Serena ?
*
This is common for hybrid or semi-hybrid vehicle. The power for air-con gets rerouted to the battery during the idle wait time.

Hi,

Looking for Oil and Air filter for Nissan Serena.....where to buy ? need special type ?

is there a Serena parts supplier in Klang Valley....

thank you sifus

The provided Bridgestone Ecopia tyres for Serena Hybrid is a special size only available to Serena Hybrid. Hence the availability can be a problem. I had the same situation and the tyre shop recommended me to take a slightly bigger tyres.

Just saw in Paultan, Tan Chong is testing out the new Serena 2017/2018 model.

I'm hoping to upgrade from my current Serena if the specification. Saw this review from Hong Kong and the new features is a nice upgrade https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSFbN-HOjJ8
