FIT COMMENCEMENT DATE 29/09/2014

FiTCD means the date when your system is already installed and ready for TNB to come and Test & Commission the PV system if it passes the tests. Only then the PV system is connected to the TNB grid.

I successfully applied for capacity expansion of 1.0 kWp to add to my present 2.45 kWp capacity. This info is captured in SEDA capacity listing. 1.0 kW= 4 pieces of 250W panels. that's all the usable space i got on my roof.

Installation is scheduled 09 Sep 2014.

don't forget to apply leave on T&C date. You want to be present to sign acceptance that your PV system meter is ready to count the money TNB ought to pay you :-)

oh..take lotsa photos and show it here, just like in the wrist watch forums they like to share their new watches :-)

ahhh...it's therapeutic for me to know that I have received RM4,000+ from TNB since commissioning in July 2013 :-)

not bad for a small 2.45kWp system..

Your capacity expansion follow current rate or your original rate?
*
the additional capacity follows 2014 rate, i.e. RM1.0184 basic+ RM0.2153 bonus rate = RM1.2337 per kWh (10% degression over 2013.

the existing capacity follows 2013 rate, i.e. RM1.1316 basic+ RM0.2392 bonus rate = RM1.3708 per kWh.

My SI will install the new capacity as a new system, separate fro the existing PV system. The 1kWp system will have 4 panels connected to a new inverter and these are connected to a new Renewable Energy meter.

Therefore, I will have 2 RE meters, one recording the output from the existing 2.45 kWp system and another RE meter recording the output from the new 1 kWp system. I will receive two sets of Payment Advice each montj.

i will document this solar capacity expansion episode when it happens.

Hello all,

May I know how many days have lapsed since the Testing & Commissioning date and payment of the Solar FiT to your account?

It seems that TNB is having some problem with the first Payment Advice which resulted in cancellation of the Payment Advice.

Onec they iron out that problem, you can expect the payment within 21 calendar days.

Hi, just got my 4kwp T&C at 4 Dec. Don't have any monitoring system, so I just look at the TNB RE meter. Currently now at 153 kW. Do I read it right? And normally how long do u guys wait from T&C to your 1st payment?
*
Hi here acidrock. congrats on successful commissioning. Yes, you are correct reading the TNB METER at 153 kWh .

Upon TNB making the first meter reading as notified by the Payment Advice, you can expect to get your payment banked into your account after 21 days of the date of the Payment Advice.

Pls let me know if you have not received the payment.

cheers,

arjunaidi

shag, what do you mean "merge"?

I have two accounts, one for viewing my electricity consumption and one for viewing the solar power generation.

greeneergy, that's a good yield. where is your location?

I get bteween 3.0 and 3.5 hours/day at Putrajaya.

Interested to increase your installed capacity? I have done this successfully in 2014.

Now SEDA is making it official.
================================================

Putrajaya, SEDA Malaysia will be opening a special session to allow individual Feed-in Approval Holders of years 2011 up to 2013 an opportunity to increase their installed capacities up to the allowable maximum limit of 12 kW per address (limited to 2 addresses per individual). Details on the application procedure and related processes as well as documentation and timelines will be made available by Friday, 5th June 2015. Registered PV Service Providers are therefore advised to refrain from submitting any requests until then.

I have two separate solar circuits, two RE meters and one tariff at 2013 rate and one at 2014 rate. How cool is that? ;-)
