nah, was wondering what EXACTLY happens
Is the original recovery not in the recovery partition when launched? which allows the recovery partition to be overwritten while being used? or the recovery is only replaced while rebooting...
Since it's Linux based, very likely the same process that happens when there is a linux kernel update. The current program remains in RAM, overwrites the one on the storage, reboot, then the new image is loaded. Is the original recovery not in the recovery partition when launched? which allows the recovery partition to be overwritten while being used? or the recovery is only replaced while rebooting...
See, in linux booting, there are img files too, so I suppose the process is the same.
