hi guys,i want to ask
anyone got problem like me?,which is sometime my lumia 920 suddenly stuck on nokia screen for no reason.
it happened to me 2-4 times in past 3 weeks.
i had to soft reset it.
its kinda irritating,is there any solution ?
has nokia or microsoft look onto this problem?

the first time was taking pictures,but i closed the phone afterwards,
i look it back again,and bam,nokia screen.
the second one, i was doing tweet ,sms ,surfing usual stuff AND closed the phone,
and bam ,when i look at it,it happened again.

youre spot on. this morning, i installed calculator3 since its free for a while; its a WP7 app but said to be updated for WP8. later in the evening, i got my first ever random reboot since buying my phone and after that, i quickly removed the app. until now using the phone with no problems at all.

Overall, feels its a lousy phone:

Cons:
- Battery life is very, very weak. Continuous usage of the phone gets me 2 hours plus of usage before it dies. I had 3 Lumia 920s, all act the same way.
- The stupid thing about the phone is that when charging, using any application will negate any charging and use up more juice than what is being charged! I face this with all so called windows 8 optimized apps.
- The phone heats itself up very, very hot with maybe a continuous usage of 10 minutes or less till I have to put it down for a while.
- I feel most of the applications (WeChat, Skype, Whatsapp) launches rather slowly, especially Microsoft's own Skype which takes a very long time to launch or even resume!

Yes, I tried everything:
- Hard resetting each of the phones
- No background apps activated
- Everything off (Wifi, NFC, Location, Bluetooth, etc)
- Only Windows 8 phone apps downloaded
- 4 Live tiles active (I removed everything else)

another sample is, let say the phone or device require 3A to charge the device, the 2A charger will try to supply 3A, but the charger circuit will get hot because it is supplying more current than it can produce. the charger also may not be able to supply stable enough 3A.. and the phone or device may oso wont get charged at all or even if its charging, it will require longer time to charge..
so, buying a higher rated amp charger is ok, but buying less rated amp charger definitely have side effects..

imagine buying a chapalang PSU for your computer, vs 1000W psu from branded company..

use chapalang PSU, how to run latest most powerful graphic card..
those cards require more current...

if u use chapalang PSU, same oso, either
a) u cant play games on pc at all
b) the chapalang PSU damage

wattage oso  means VOLTAGE X CURRENT RATING.. the higher the wattage, the larger the current rating since voltage value is fixed at certain volts..

erm... light bulb lighting intensity is affected by the current not voltage.... iirc...

light bulb also got own wattage mah..

if u go hardware shop, see lightbulb got many wattage, 40W, 60W, 100W,
fo course higher means brighter lah (please compare to same bulb technology)

higher bulb wattage, means it can suck more current.. maybe the tungsten wire more thicker or something..
so it able to run at higher current, and provide brighter light

Some sites did mention OIS but i dont think there is, because only a few websites mentioned it. Only ultrapixel i think.

Was surprised actually,    i thought many people love to criticize Windows Phone. I guess that's what you call Tsundere eh...

I read them a lot also, along with phonearena. A credible tech blog. But their comments section are filled with trolls, at least not as bad as gsmarena though. GSMarena is filled with trolls who cant even type proper English.

GUYS, BIG PROBLEM!
my Lumia 920 WIFI suddenly can't work, it's not that i could not detect network, but the Wifi signal indicator doesn't show any bar, it's like not searching. I already did the soft reset, still same...Any solution? Anyway if i could not find any solution, how could i back up all my data before sending it back to nokia?

yes i did, it's like the wifi hardware is not functioning instead of software...This is very bad Nokia...
