QUOTE(digilife @ Oct 5 2013, 07:53 AM) How is your 753S performance when using as a standalone MiFi ? Why dun you treat the 753S as modem and dun let it auto connect when plugged onto the ROOter , just let ROOter to dial in. Or plug the MiFi into the PC , let it connect to the Net, now use the PC's LAN out to the ROOter's WAN port ~ use the ROOter as an access point Mine works fine with better PING , E398 > PC via USB port > LAN out to ROOTer WAN > use wifi from ROOTer on PlayHub on LCD TV [ cloud streaming ] Your setup is great. Did u configure NAT/Internet sharing at PC once it dial to PPP? I want to minimize of using PC to do NAT/Internet sharing. Thanks.

QUOTE(digilife @ Oct 10 2013, 04:24 PM) your 753s is good enough to be a wifi router @home, unless you want to extend wifi to the second floor or basement that is main the reason... need to cover some area that 753S can't reach

Sharing. I have ROOter Huntsman 2013-10-12 installed in TL-WR1043ND. Why TL-WR1043ND? Because I want 8MB and bought it before TL-WR710N launch. I wanted to install OpenVPN into TL-WR1043ND to connect to my VPN server to test port fwding to my IP camera but I encountered the error message below: - Installing openvpn-openssl (2.3.2-3) to root... Downloading http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/tru....2-3_ar71xx.ipk. Collected errors: * satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for openvpn-openssl: * kernel (= 3.10.17-1-7ae4a648401f2216d6aff57f5ed43a60) * * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package openvpn-openssl. Has anyone successful install any other package in ROOter firmware? Please share. Thank you.
