QUOTE(nexus2238 @ Mar 19 2013, 06:22 PM) ^ Ya, the "era" of the legend wait of it ery Y580 is offically over in Malaysia. What joy it has given us the problem with gray imports is the warranty support only. dont know what to do when the laptop has problem. Still plenty of grey imports around |

QUOTE(nexus2238 @ Mar 21 2013, 10:19 AM) ^Have not seen it. My sis took it to a shop I think. yeah, get a replacement for the ipad. technology nowadays are talking about replacement or change. no one is talking about repairs now.On leave today, will just go out and buy if the Asus is ok. It's a wonder to me how a 60 years old could get "addicted" to facebook |

QUOTE(Tomiya Takato @ Mar 21 2013, 03:06 PM) Not really aimed towards gaming tbh. Bro just got 9a's for his SPM and he wanted a hybrid all this while so have to oblige and get him one. Thanks alot for the help guys looks like you love your brother a lot. just get him a laptop is enough. hybrids were just new to the market, so it takes time for the price to drop. |

QUOTE(DariusCk @ Mar 21 2013, 08:24 PM) Ya ... N56VZ i5 model all laptop manufacturers were the same, even though lenovo is china branded. so there are no disadvantages on purchasing lenovo as their after market service is good. as durability, depends on your usage. if constant gaming for non-stop, im sure it will went to 'meet their grandfathers'.I think I will go for Lenovo, how long the warranty is? Any disadvantage for lenovo? I hope it will stay for 3or4 years |

QUOTE(1212345656 @ Mar 22 2013, 12:25 AM) it is totally recommended, as not all notebooks are from that price range. even the alienware m14x has a price tag of RM4000 without a swappable bay. if you want another rival, it will be the new acer v3 with IPS display. |

QUOTE(blinkblink88 @ Mar 24 2013, 11:37 PM) Hi every sifu, lets talk about the specs, the K46CM comes with core i5, GT635M and weights 2kg, while the Zenbook comes with core i5, GT620M and weights 1.46kg. the difference is the graphics card and weight but that is not true that ultrabooks cant handle photoshop (since both are ultrabooks!). the graphics card that the zenbook has is sufficient for photoshopping, as long the graphics card meet the requirements of the photoshop (not sure about autocad though).I am looking for Asus Zenbook UX32VD ultrabook because it is light enough and do to have a graphic card. I need to use it for autocad and photoshop. But the seller told me that the asus ultrabook cant take care of the photoshop CS6 well (it can work smooth and sometime it will feel lag) even it has a graphic card...I would like to know is it the truth? And he recommended me to get Asus K46CM (if I would like to stick with Asus brand). I need everyone clarification before I buy it and regret. Thank you. |

QUOTE(blinkblink88 @ Mar 25 2013, 11:02 AM) Thank you for your reply. I personal think that photoshop CS6 is heavier then autocad. Since both are ultrabook series than what is the spec or etc to make the price so different? Is it a big different between GT635M 2GB and GT620M 1GB? yes. there is big difference between GT635M and GT620M. the VRAM doesnt makes difference, as it is not important in graphical processing except if you want a setup of multiple monitors. even it is same spec for both laptops, the weight carried by UX32VD causes the price for the UX32VD is costlier than the K46CM. if i were you with that price, i would look for a powerful netbook, the Illegear R11 (like what sifu nexus said).Thank you |
