Seems there is an update for maxis

Now my cellular settings change to LTE thou it still 3G

Maxis preparing for LTE on iPhone 5?

What is your iOS version there?
I checked mine, it still showing 3G

i have got the LTE update from maxis !
but no change thou... still with 3G connection only !!!

hmm i manage to get maxis update when i was visiting About my iphone in the general settings. Now i have the LTE option enable but still seeing 3g as well..no sign of LTE yet in penang i guess?

As long as it fixes the fluctuation in the maxis network, that's good enough. As I can see it, "enable LTE" is only an option, still hv to subscribe to the service once available, unless... Maxis give free upgrade la

I think we wun be able to get LTE for iphone, as the LTE currently offered is different band?

nope. Maxis already passed the 1800MHz test by Apple.

I was at taman Tun area , was on LTE signal then 3G, was surprised n tried the speed , reached 20mbps ,
Means the LTE already passed the government issue n start rolling as we know MAXIS already have LTE at certain area like KLCC n TAMAN TUN

How do you know it is LTE? Does ur sign show LTE instead of 3G?
Can snapshot and see .. I thought we hv to pay extra if we use LTE instead of 3G?

I'm not paying additional for LTE subscription; I don't think the telco's charging; are they? Doesn't make sense since it's not widely available yet

do we need to go to KLCC just to activate the LTE? I'm on SurfMore 50, and according to them, LTE is supported with this package.

Any 1 with a complete map of LTE coverage in Malaysia? iPoh or Penang got this LTE coverage?

BTW, i updated to Maxis 14.1 , then only i realised there's no way for me to enable E/gprs only ? @@ How can i change the signal back to Egde cause 3G signal is weak in my area icon_question.gif
