so after the 12 months contract period, i'm still paying RM50/month for the plan right?
i'm using digi prepaid now so i can just go to maxis centre to port in to ivalue simple or do i need to port in to hotlink first then only ivalue simple?

I'm not familiar with this maxis plan ; I'm planning to get an Iphone 5
If i plan to go for the Ivalue 3 which is Rm 250 per month ,2 years contract .I have to pay 4 months advance which is RM 1000 plus Rm rm449 for the phone, am I right?
Do I need a credit card to sign up or I can use cash for the plan?
Can I pay the monthly fee by cash or I have to use credit card as well??

I signed up for iValue 1 with full cash - phone and advanced payment.

So,
1. If you check the latest Maxis Website, your iValue 3 is RM250/month with RM449 device price but RM1500 advanced payment... So it should be RM1500 + RM449 = RM1949.
2. I saw the guy beside me paid with credit card, in full. They have the facilities to accept credit cards.

Anyone here getting billshock from maxis? My Jan 15th-Feb 15th bill is RM267 when I sign up for iValue 100.

My phone got barred yesterday evening. They didn't 1. Send me my outstanding bill to me 2. They didn't even SMS me regarding any payment.
So I called them right when my phone was barred, and to find out that my Jan bill is RM267!?

I asked them why is my bill so frikking high and they said they do not know as my bill statement is not out yet, supposingly to come out tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. But I just want to check with you other lowyat forumers to see if anyone else here getting bill shock from maxis under iValue plan.

YES. I signed up for iValue 100 for iPhone 5 32gb.

I just got my first bill today. No shock. Only paying 40 cents extra for texting non-maxis numbers.

I don't know. That's according to maxis when I called them. I spoke to 2 different people at different times to ensure that the amount they mentioned was right. I also double confirmed that it is only for 1 month with specific dates which was from 15th Jan to 15th Feb.

I told them I would only pay the amount which I agreed with them + any additional charges which relates with the iValue 100 for eg. service charge or some crap tax till I am proven otherwise and also not to bar my line.

Let's see how it goes. Will update this post

How do you check unbilled usage with ivalue plan? I just realised that the unbilled amount quoted for ivalue plans would be a meaningless figure.
