I am wondering how much ACN offered to analyst with 2 years exp. Could you please give the salary range, not required to expose your exact salary as it's part of your privacy

Just curious  rclxms.gif

yes, I am actually quite curious with 2yr experience what kind of salary range ACN can offer...

because if you start in ACN from fresh grad after 2yr time i think u will be promoted to consultant level already, the pay structure sure is different from analyst level...so is it still worth to join after 2yr exp ?

The 2 years experience if relevant can be taken in. Otherwise it might not be fully accounted. For example, I had 2 years engineering experience but it wasn't relevant at all. When I started as an analyst, I had 6 months credit.

Absolutely, How about with 2 years relevant experience. I'm wondering how much Accenture will able to bring to the table? hmm.gif

I just went to Accenture for interview like 3 weeks ago for second time .Net developer.

there was 3 paper tests and the time was pretty short to answer.

i recall the first time i go interview in 5 years ago for Java developer, there 2 papers and only give 1.5 hours to answer.

this is the company having a lot of tests and finish in a short time.

some MCQ likes at least 30, questions and answer more than 10.
by far this is the worst company for the test for me.

That will then depend on how well you have passed your interview and see how your past experience is relevant. For example, there are some people who say that they have done SAP but actually what they did prior to this was just as an end user perspective and not in ABAP or any of the function modules in terms of config and designing the process flows.

my impression of ACN wasn't that good after talking to the MD who interviewed me...

I must say ... as much as an interviewer is accessing you as potential employee... the employee (you) must actively access your future manager as well.

from the outset - so much politics - so much promises and empty talkings ... totally reversed the good impression I had for the previous two humble, honest and down to earth managers who managed the first 2 rounds interviews.

If you want... negotiate away with the final interviewer. Nothing stops you from going to consultant level - but bear in mind then your performance will be rated among your peers (consultant level). Now think those seasoned 2 or even 3 years experienced consultants and you are going against them. Its a bell curve - some have to fall behind the average... (that would mean little to no bonus and increment). But then again, if you think you can outdo those incumbents.. why not ?

if it is Management consulting you are talking about - if they want you... negotiate your pay. they seem to have lots of budget to pay. like, seriously.

The Interview Day was very interesting in my opinion. Regardless of whether or not one gets the job, they will still get a good experience from going through all the sessions. smile.gif

In Accenture there's 2 popular division which is:

1. Consulting
2. Solution Workforce (SWF)

To enter Consulting, you must have these criteria:

1. Graduated from Overseas from top universities (or Local universities with good results also can - but i believe they have quota)
2. Speaks English very well
3. Pleasant looking

So its very hard to enter Consulting honestly because only gods know what is their requirement. The pros is, your starting salary is pretty high compared to other consulting firms (PWC, EY, others) and, you definitely learn alot. Come on, you are freshies don't expect to go back at 5 lah. If you don't want work late, go work with the government. The main key points you should consider to work with Accenture Consulting Malaysia is the experience that you will received, and also the salary is OK OK.

Secondly, the Solution Workforce. To enter SWF is pretty easy, local universities are most welcome. You'll received the same experience like the Consulting folks. Name it. Now the draw back it, with the equal number of work compared to the Consulting folks, your salary is HALF from what the Consulting folks received. They said its the industry standards which i don't understand? Other than salary, i also realized the Consulting folks usually look-down towards those SWF folks. Maybe because these Consulting folks feels "glamour" and proud" to enter the Consulting compared to those un-lucky SWF. So, i conclude the draw backs is the HALF salary compared to Consulting folks, and you have to prepared to accept the racist given by the Consulting folks (the Manager from Consulting would do the same as well FYI). Blame the entry criteria.

Conclusion, only work in Solution Workforce IF you did not receive any job offers. Last resort. Or else, ready to face the racism and low-wages salary.

Closing interview is usually just normal chat I believe.

not really accessing you anymore. However I don't speak for the firm. Just some random chat I have with friends who were inside.
