There are actually two directions, if you are entering for a technical position such as a programmer then I am not too sure but if you are entering as an analyst under the consulting workforce the interview process is as follows.
1. Interview with manager 2. Interview with senior manager 3. Interview with senior executive
Usually the questions they ask are not that technical related. They are very thorough in their questioning so be prepared. They would expect you to have very good communication skills and be precise and deep in your answers. The last interview with the senior executive can be anything under the sun so it really depends on your luck.
For example, a simple question like, "Explain a situation you were in before where you had a hard deadline". You can give a very simple and broad based answer and mention that you called a few people to discuss etc etc. Then they will ask you what you said during that phone conversation and how did it impact the project/situation or how the end receiver of your call would react to the situation.
Remember to ask as many questions and do your homework. Check out the other interview sections of this forums. If you carefully study it and work with it, you shouldn't have any problems. It is also good to rehearse explaining certain situations you have been in.
The very common situations are: - When you showed leadership qualities - Hard deadline - Had to work with a difficult member of the team

QUOTE(wling @ Mar 30 2006, 09:28 PM) Thanks guys. Much appreciated. Though i have a few more enquiries. Will they make an offer during the 3rd interview? Or they will call and let you know that you're successful later on? If so, how long do you have to wait after the 3rd interview for an offer? A week or so? Sometimes it really depends on how well do you do during your 2nd interview. If you did very well then by the 3rd interview you would get a confirmation. But there are cases whereby people failed it during the 3rd interview. Have you completed your 3rd interview? If you attend any interview and don't get a reply in a week's time, just give them a call and ask about your application.

QUOTE(wling @ Apr 1 2006, 01:52 PM) Mavik, are you currently attached with Accenture? What's the working environment like? And no, i have not completed the 3rd interview but it has been arranged. I went for 2nd interview in the morning and the response was rather quick as i received a call from them in the evening itself to schedule for 3rd interview which they termed as a Closing Interview. During the 2nd interview, i was told that they're recruiting for the Technology Solutions team and there might be 1, if not 2 (?!?), more interviews after that. Wonder what that's about since from what i heard they are only 3 interviews as told by Mavik and Unknown. But since they said the upcoming one as a Closing Interview, i sure hope it's the last as it's rather difficult for me to keep taking leaves in my current company. Anyone under Accenture Technology Solutions workforce here? What's the working environment like? As for the salary... fresh grad at 3K huh?? hmm... makes me wonder if i should have quoted my expected salary differently Solutions workforce huh? To be honest, disregard what you have read here regarding Accenture Consulting. Its totally different.

In general I would say that both workforces work just as hard but the pay is definitely different by miles apart. Also benefits differ for these two workforces.

QUOTE(jean @ May 28 2007, 06:48 PM) 2 me Accenture is not really a very good company they only pay their account analysts (fresh grad) for rm1,700, minimum need 2 work 48 hours per week exclude lunch, alternate saturdays need 2 go back also and d other sat are on call, if team member is sick or wat, u have 2 go replace them and there is no OT paid, u can just use those OT to change it 2 leaves That is for their services line within the outsourcing group. Read this thread more or other threads and see that their consultants are highly paid.

QUOTE(Arsenal Manager @ May 21 2013, 07:31 PM) yes, I am actually quite curious with 2yr experience what kind of salary range ACN can offer... because if you start in ACN from fresh grad after 2yr time i think u will be promoted to consultant level already, the pay structure sure is different from analyst level...so is it still worth to join after 2yr exp ? The 2 years experience if relevant can be taken in. Otherwise it might not be fully accounted. For example, I had 2 years engineering experience but it wasn't relevant at all. When I started as an analyst, I had 6 months credit.

QUOTE(smas @ May 22 2013, 02:15 AM) Absolutely, How about with 2 years relevant experience. I'm wondering how much Accenture will able to bring to the table? That will then depend on how well you have passed your interview and see how your past experience is relevant. For example, there are some people who say that they have done SAP but actually what they did prior to this was just as an end user perspective and not in ABAP or any of the function modules in terms of config and designing the process flows.
