Did you write the PPPoE username correctly?
Just in case, go back to WAN > Internet Connection: then check if your username is written like this: "example@unifi"
Once you've written everything correctly, click Apply

Then go to LAN > IPTV > Select ISP Profile > Unifi Business / UniFi Home
*If you don't use the UniFi TV set top box, you can use the UniFi Business profile

Once you've chosen the correct ISP profile, click Apply

Can my Wireless Router still can use? Or can only use Unifi provided modem/router?
You can still use the ASUS router but you will be limited to around 900Mb/s download speed
When the TM contractor goes to your place to change the modem/router, you can tell them to set it as bridge mode so the ASUS router will still do the PPPoE dialup

Mean, I will get one ONR from TM. Then use Lan cable connect to my Asus Router?
Correct. Ask them to set the ONR as bridge mode
This will disable the DHCP functionality and at the same time turn off the Wi-Fi function
But just to let you know that not all installer knows how to do it

I had to cancel 1 installer because of this and another installer came on the next day to do what I wanted them to do

Does it involve technical knowledge? We can do that after done set up? Just worry there required some password to do that.
Your PPPoE password shouldn't change even after the upgrade
If the installer can set the ONR to bridge mode by themselves, then you don't need to do anything
But if not, you may have to get the login password for the ONR from the installer to set the bridge mode by yourself

Wait, they let people to change the D-LINK ONR to bridge mode now?
I'm not sure if we can really do it by ourselves as I have never tested it
But changing to bridge mode is possible because that's what they did to my office D-Link ONU when we upgrade from 800Mb/s to 1Gb/s
We're using our own Fortinet firewall to do the PPPoE dial-up hence the reason for bridging mode

The installer also gave me the password for the ONT while mentioning that we can use that password to login into the ONR if we ever need to modify something

If you want Gig speed on mesh node, only the XT12 can do it reliably.
Or connect all of them using Ethernet cable laugh.gif
The most reliable option there is

Should be okay by now I guess. I had the same problem before.
Yeah it's fine now but I had to access the router through https://192.168.50.1:8443 first
It seems the DDNS somehow unregistered by itself. After re-registering, it's fixed

Is it a must to factory reset the RT-AC86U in order to add it as mesh node?
Not necessary to reset it but it is a good idea to do so

ASUS should have something new for the WiFi 7 86U series.
However, we have no idea how long the wait is going to be.

RT-AC68U > RT-AC86U > RT-AX86U > RT-BE86U maybe?

ASUSmy After updating my GT-AC5300 firmware to version 3.0.0.4.386_51582, I am no longer able to access the router's web GUI via ASUSCOMM DDNS or 192.168.50.1.

I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps:
*Tried accessing the GUI using both Chrome and Edge, but neither worked.
*Attempted access from a different PC, but the issue persists.
*Restarted the router three times, waiting 15 minutes each time before attempting access via ASUS DDNS.

At this time, I can only access the router through the mobile app.
Please advise on resolving this issue without performing a factory reset.
