I am deciding between Unifi and Maxis fiber. Based on all the forums I have read (including Maxis's own forum), generally Maxis fiber has more complains that Unifi. I better go with Unifi.

Got a call from astro (or astro agent) today trying to persuade me to upgrade to astro IPTV + Maxis fibre internet. Prices seem right but I told her that I need some time to do some research on the reliability of Maxis fibre internet before I say yes to her. After reading so many negative comments about it here and elsewhere , I think I'll tell her "maybe next time..." when she calls back.

Any Maxis agent/Employee here? Just wanna ask, when the heck are you guys going to upgrade the infrastructure in puchong, wawasan area. Cant believe it doesnt have fibre there. Still stuck with 2mbps line there.

promo price for 10mbps = RM179

i think if you guys eager to get the promo just can call them ask for the upgrade promo as it is still ongoing

I've been using Unifi for more than 3 yrs now. Just upgraded to 20Mbs since Jan 2014. Speed is excellent. No complaint and no regret

i don't think RM179 will include HyppTV megapack

you'll just get 10mbps purely

the other promotion is RM199 for 10mbps with megapack iirc

Thanks for the reply mine VIP 10 is RM199 included mega but i think i fully utilize don't know can downgrade to VIP 5 or not ? which is more practical and economic. Anyhow how will try to ask for it because no choice need to prepare for the greatest GST wave next year. Terima Kasih Najis

not sure what's offered by megapack .. a lot of ppl think HyppTV is quite useless coz it can't get sports channel viewing rights eventhough free channel like RTM 1 is viewing it, but the same channel on HyppTV will get blocked

it it were me, i'll cut HyppTV and just keep 10mbps for reduced price

anyone use maxis home fibre in shah alam section 7 area?thinking to install as unifi have no more port to install.have to wait.dunno when only have...would like to know the maxis line performance in this area.
