Hi,does anybody encountered NAT Type Failed after updated to the latest firmware?

Previously was working fine,but after the update,it says NAT Type Failed and cant connect to online gaming. But able to sign into PSN.

Any idea?

How long can a blray game disc last ? if buy 2nd game te disc is 5 years old can play with no error ?

I have a Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction first press disc that was from 2007, the disc is still in pristine condition and still works aboslutely fine 7 years later.

It's a known fact that Blu-Ray discs lasts a lot longer that CDs and DVDs. So as long as you keep them in a dry, fairly cool place, they'll pretty much last a very, very, long time (at least 15 years).

Dear all sifu-sifu & guru-guru, I'm new to ps3, just borrow from my uncle. A few months ago, I still can play the ps3, but yesterday night, when I wanted to play God of War collection, at the beginning scene, right after the game started for 2 minutes, the ps3 will shut down itself and "beeeeeeep".

So I google about that problem, some says it's YLOD, but I hope it's not. Because I'm still able to turn on the system, still can navigate at the front page, just cannot play games more than 2 minutes. Besides, I observe about it, when it shuts down, "beeep...." then it has yellow light first, then only red light keep blinking. So what problem was that ? I checked the fix for YLOD, it's too complicated for me, have to unscrew everything and take out all the parts, i dont want to risk it as im just a student.

I even try to adjust my screen resolution, from 1080i to 1080p, still cannot play more than 2 minutes. Then i switch to 720p and the 3xx ( don't remember the resolution ), but this time the game works. Weird ! I got no idea what problem was that. At first, i thought it was because my tv can't support 1080, but my tv was a sony bravia, the manual says it supports 1080.....a few months ago, I played uncharted 2 with 1080i resolution also no problem, but this problem just happened since last night.

Really hope that someone could help me and give me advise as I'm just a newbie. Thank you. Appreciate it.

it's almost dead already. YLOD is just the beginning.

u can but for short time only.it will YLOD again after a few weeks/months like that.

Guys my ps3 playstation store cannot be access it always freeze when I wanted to. I wonder any other people has the same problem with me?

TBH its a relief for me as everyone having the same problem.

idk about everyone else but i figured out my current hdd is a bit messed up. i put my old 160gb hdd back into my console and actually it worked.

i only use it to access psn, had to switch back to my current hdd to play. now my hdd port/tray is left uncovered/unscrewed.
