Backup to an ext Hdd using the ps3 backup utility. For a 320 gb Hdd expect around 12 hours to complete backup. also back up all your game saves and trophies. Then open up the ps3 and install new larger size Hdd in place. Make sure you downloaded the latest ps3 update file cos it will ask for it when you turn on the ps3 new Hdd. Then it will copy all the backup from the ext Hdd previously to the new Hdd. Also another 10-12 hours.

But bear in mind you will need to 're-activate all the various user id in from the old Hdd. Your own user account should be easy. But if you bought the ps3 with psn games already installed then you might not be able to play the games anymore. Unless the previous owner will give the username and password to you.

The game will be there in your system. Only not playable cos it's not activated.

If you're playing online yes. If offline generally no. unless the game got huge problem then better patch.

don't know. but being online always has a security risk, big or small or whether hacked system or not.
just go offline if you are worried

I normally buy from Terion. Trusted seller long time in biz Seller will tell you how to download it.

There is also a way to download offline using PC. Using PS3 Proxy software but I forgot the link oredi. Can google PS3 proxy. This way you dont need to turn on the PS3 for days and worry about overheating just to download if you have limited speed.

I found out some interesting PSN plus free games for Europe region and I can't download them because my account under Asia region. So, should I register a new account in order to download those games ?

You have to register a Europe account. And you have to subscribe to their PS Plus in order to download the free games there.

1. Is Europe subscription fee same to Asia ?
2. Can I have both Europe and Asia accounts under the same playstation ? If yes, should I sign in different account to play Asia/ Europe free game ?

1. For UK PS Plus it's £39.99 per year, so it's more.
2. Yes you can. You only need to sign in to UK/Europe PSN to download the games. After that you can play them on your Asia PSN.

Thanks for the useful information. £39.99 per year fee is about 2 times more expensive than Asia. So, I think I think will still maintain my asia account.
