It is, so do I have to register for a different account based in US to get the game?

Another question, is it possible to download via laptop and transfer the file to PS3 using external hard disk? Thanks again!

Yes, you will need to create an US Account in order to purchase and download the game.

I don't think you able to download via laptop and transfer the file to Ps3 using ext hdd. sweat.gif

Thanks. I read that besides having a valid US address, I only need a credit card with a US billing address. How do go about this?

Yes you can dl using laptop or PC and then transfer or re-download directly from your laptop to the PS3. Its a method using PS3 Proxy. Need to do some setup with your PC first. I use wired connection from Gigabit router to my PS3 and can get speed like 10MB per sec. Better than my internet speed which can only get like 8 sec per 1MB. Saves a lot of 'on' time for my PS3. thumbup.gif

Can google PS3 proxy server for it.

As far as I know, most game updates cannot do background download. PS3 proxy server method can only use for background download files. Like if you buy a PSN game or PS+ game like Uncharted 3. You download it in background and then use PS3 proxy to get the download link. The use download manager with Unifi and will finish 40GB in like half a day. Can google it. icon_rolleyes.gif

Maybe its BF4 update server problem. Like SOCOM 4 update very slow like less than 100Kb/s. You done the speedtest for your connection? What does Mr Google say about BF4 update?
