Try setting a static IP for both PS3s on your router and the PS3 itself.

This is an extremely common question that has been asked since 5 years ago. Yes, yes, and yes. Games aren't region locked except for Persona 4: Arena and a few non-notable Japan PSN games.

That bluetooth has already been discontinued Munyau. Been replaced by this - http://www.amazon.com/PS3-Bluetooth-Headse...=dp_ob_title_vg
Impulse selling for RM145.

On a personal note, hook-around earpiece are uncomfortable. Your ear will be hurting like crazy after an hour.

I'm not sure, because when a system is de-activated there are only 2 common causes -

1) Jailbroken and got banned.
2) You were sharing an account with someone but Sony smelled something fishy with your account and disabled it.

On no.2, there are many variables for this as it can be something like an authorized account transaction, account abuse, hacking, and stuff like that.

If wireless for both your DS3 and wi-fi isn't working, then it is possible that your PS3's wireless network card is dead.
The PS3 uses a hybrid Wi-fi + Bluetooth card, switches between one another very quickly. So if either one goes dead, both your wi-fi and DS3 (as well as any other bluetooth devices) will cease to connect to the PS3.

The wire won't just go "loose" like that though.
But if you're adamant in opening your PS3, you'll need a T8 Torx screwdriver as well as a stardard philips screwdriver just to open the casing.

Depending on the game to be quite honest. I would turn it off in heavily story-driven games.
But that "ping" is just soooo sweet.

Yes, that one fits.

Almost all 1TB 2.5" HDDs released in the last year comes in a 9.5mm form. Some even comes in 7mm form. You don't have to worry.

I have a Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction first press disc that was from 2007, the disc is still in pristine condition and still works aboslutely fine 7 years later.

It's a known fact that Blu-Ray discs lasts a lot longer that CDs and DVDs. So as long as you keep them in a dry, fairly cool place, they'll pretty much last a very, very, long time (at least 15 years).
