I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand ps3 and have some question to ask

1. can I play the downloaded/ shared account game from psn without internet?

2. do I have to create new account or just use the old owner account?

3. can I just switch on the console and play the game without some activation or something just like the old ps2?

sorry for asking, but I'm planning to put this at my hometown without internet connection so that's why I have to ask.

1. Yes u can. U still need to connect to internet once though to download and activate the account. Do note you can only activate max 2 PS3 consoles (e.g. If this account is already activated on another 2 consoles earlier u cannot activate the 3rd one and all download games will not work)

2. U can leave the old owner account there and i suggest u log in with another different account (old or new).

3. Yes u can. There is no particular activation u need for console but u will need to make sure the account where u download games from is activated at least once.

You can find on Lazada and price range between RM 70-100. Some stores may still have it though it maybe more expensive.

Lol u can try. Doesn't give me confidence though coz no warranty. But they do give free thumb caps in their description.

Believe it or not, I'm still using my nearly 20 year old grey coloured PS controller using a USB dongle adaptor. It feels heavier and sturdier and also much better than standard PS3 controller. Works on 90% of games I have. Some games such as Gran Turismo won't work though.

I heard that you can buy PSN top up at 7-11 now. Anyone have successful purchase story before? When and which 7-11? I've asked around several 7-11 before and they all show blurr face only.

It should be at a stand at the side of a gondola together with all the other top up cards like Facebook, MOL, Apple, etc.

I bought before. Works excellent and best of all no surcharge like the gamestores (eg I buy RM 100 and get RM 100 in PSN wallet). Also I bought mine at Alor Setar 7-11 near the jetty to Langkawi. Isnt that great. Was told that almost all stores (1000+) should have).

TQ . Finally got it a few days ago in Bangsar. Got the RM100 top up. This time need to rush cos need to buy EA games sales before end. Previously in The Curve but they sold out. Only have PS Plus 1 year cards only.

Hi wanna ask a question about PS4.

I have a Malaysian account but I use my American account by default. I bought a R3 game which came with a code. I could redeem the code with my Malaysian account but when I use my American account, the DLC content is not there.


Is there a way so that all accounts on my PS4 could get access to it? On PS3 I could get access to everything. Help would be great.

Set all your accounts as primary on the PS4.
