Dem..i never tot it was that heavy..but still,lighter than most laptop.so im okay with it..

the W700 leather case even heavier than my ipad mini.

Prefer using it without the leather case, unless bringing the tablet outside then I'll fit into the leather case.

I am using it currently. Undoubtedly, it is a handsome device to use at anywhere. I am waiting for better casing with built-in keyboard and touch pad.

Lol..just notice at default setting,the camera was set to 2mp only..i tot the camera really that bad..but after set it to 5mp,it deliver average quality..still,the camera is zero shutter lag!

Yes. RM2199 as listed in brochure plus dock and pouch. Inside the box there's a VGA converter, charging cable and recovery CDs.

yes... getting this with core proc rather then atom is more worth... one thing that I consider is the hdd size with no micro sd card support... unless i void the warranty by adding a larger size msata drive...

It depends what you want to store at your tablet though, I do agree that the space is pretty limited, that's why you can opt for using an external hard disk to store large videos and some minor games. It would be plenty enough if you are staying in the metro apps which I find myself using more than desktop mode. Metro Apps don't consume as much as Desktop apps.

Also, I used the built-in SkyDrive for all my photos and documents, so that it also syncs with my laptop. I did manage to redeem 25GB of space which was a promo for old Microsoft users. That way if I want to view my photos or documents, I just had to open the SkyDrive app while the files don't take up any storage space.

There are many other options such as USB 3.0 storage. Though I'm not sure if Acer themselves offer service to upgrade our SSD, though I know they do offer services to upgrade RAM etc.

Glad you make the choice man I didn't regret getting this tablet, the best thing about it is the Full HD display that makes images sharper and crisper, and the build quality which is solid and sexy. I manage to run a few games such as Frozen Throne on the tablet just to try it out, overall I'm happy with this tablet.


Yes, but Acer will be releasing a newer version 218 that is going to fix the issue once and for all. There is a version 221 from a Russian source website that is available too, and according to people, it boosts the WiFi speed. Since mine is already fixed since the last version, I don't think I want to update to the latest 217v3 just to avoid the same problem from occurring again.

I'll believe the speed improvements when I see it.
