I saw that Acer is giving the free case with embedded keyboard for W700. But, how about those of us who has bought it earlier, can we get it for free? tongue.gif

I bought a used ICONIA W700 from mudah.my. Full package but no recovery CD's. I asked the Acer service centre to get that CDs, unfortunately they cannot provide it or sell it. So, could anybody in this forum help me to upload those recovery CDs or how much if I have to buy it from you? (pls don't be expensive smile.gif ).

Thank you.

Already check many times and there is no recovery CD. The previous owner stated that there is no recovery CD, that is why I ask somebody help in this forum. Btw, thank for your attention. smile.gif

What type of charging port is this tablet using?

Is it possible to use the power bank to recharge while on the go or use an in-car charger? How about the charging adaptor? is it bulky?

No the adapter is not bulky at all and it is very portable. In fact, Acer's ultrabook such as the Aspire S7 uses the same adapter and charging port.

Only Atom Clovertrails can be recharged by a 5V power bank, and out of those the ones that I know of which can do so are
- Dell Clovertrail Slate (can't remember the name)
- Lenovo Lynx

ACER Australia is selling them for 119 Aus, convert over is RM380.

By the way, other countries are starting to pack in the Bluetooth cover into the W700 package, just that the previous dock is now being omitted.

Guys, check out Live Updater again, there's another newer v218 and a sensor patch than the old 218. I just updated and I think it is better. Will try to surf the web to test out more tomorrow again.
