Yep there is a slight change in spec (updated in the first page about a week ago). The dock and leather case is not supposed to be included in the that package.

Mind to explain the slightly changed specs?
I barely can't see any changes for the first page... sweat.gif

Will the retail RM2199 one still got the leather case?.
Is the RM2600 is the one with the case + Bluetooth keyboard one?

I wonder why Acer didn't provide changing the SSD service?
Now nee to wait until the warranty is over before i can change the SSD myself... sad.gif

Yes. Do note on the processor: the old comes with 1.4GHz, the new one is 1.5GHz. And do note on the battery life.

The new set does NOT comes with a leather case but with a heavier case with embedded keyboard.

Meanwhile the one with RM2.6k is not sold in Malaysia but at Thailand. It comes with the case with keyboard, stylus, dock.

So.. now what's the retail price?
RM 2199 or 2600? (sorry.. still a bit confuse..)

RM 2199 - Tablet + case (+embedded keyboard)
RM 2600 - Tablet + Keyboard + Stylus + Dock

the keyboard in both package is different?

Tried increase the DPI a bit.. if things are too small..

But after a few days, and some minor tweaks.. i can get things done quite easily with fingers only...
Altho sometimes it takes times to get certain jobs done..
like need the extra click to brings out the touch keyboard when filling up something.... and with the default keyboard layout... some things can't be done... (no windows key, cannot click ctrl+shift together, no tab key.. and stuff like that...)

And does anyone notice.. Chrome will be laggy when opening sites with lotsa big images... compared to the IE.. which is pretty darn smooth...

Guys

I'm using Logitech keyboard and mouse where sometimes the bluetooth mouse is not detected on the computer where I have to switch off/on the mouse or restart the tab to get it work on my W700.

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Hi guys, I just bought a w700 with casing + embedded keyboard.

Do you know how to switch the keyboard off?

Also, where to get casing/ screen protector?

does all new stocks come with embedded keyboard in the case now?

if yes then it'd be quite a tempting purchase decision

I also bought one recently. I found problems below:

1. When I click on something (using fingers), that thing come out slowly (perhaps lagging 1~2 secs). It happens to everything I clicked.

2. The battery meter cannot correctly estimate my battery time.

Can any share whether you all experience these as well?

I've tested it today at a store.

Performance was pretty zippy, despite a measly Sandy Bridge i3.
Screen is nice, at 1080p with IPS tech, it displays crispy and colorful images.
Weight is not as bad i imagined.

CONS - hardware windows button sometimes doesnt register the press, i need to press it firmly for the second time to ensure that it recognizes that im pressing it.
Not all stores sell it with the new embedded keyboard case. with no prop-up case, using it is almost impossible on a desk when you're out

Guys,do Chrome and Firefox have laggy/jittery scrolling in desktop mode on your units? On mine only IE in Metro mode scrolls smoothly which is weird considering the power this tablet packs.
