Hey guys,i found a person selling his note 2.. Is there anything I need to look out for? How to know whether is it note 1 or 2? And how to check for problem with the phone? Ur advise would be very helpful.. I don't want to get con..

Note 1 and Note 2 doesn't look the same.
Note is shorter and wider. Note 2 is longer and slimmer.
Or go to Settings > About device (scroll at the bottom).
Note 2 is N7100 or N7105 (for not local MY unit)

As for other things, not sure how to advise.

previously i had facing same problem, then i've claimed RMA at sandisk local distributor (vector digital).. then 2 weeks later after got d replacement, which is yesterday, this problem occur again.. so i tot it's d sd card got problem again.. then i tried another 2-3 sd card into my phone, also can't be detected at all, even after format all of it including reset my phone to factory default setting.. last option, need to check my phone.. coz some said they oso got problems when using sandisk 32gb class10 micro sdhc into their phone.. nvm, need to wait 3 days for sc to check my phone.. later will update u all what's d actual problem.. coz during send my phone, i asked d technician, she said might be motherboard problem..

just got my allshare cast dongle and 2 original charger today. Can't play with the dongle yet as it only works with stock ROM.

btw, joytest, you are using deodexed or odexed stock rom? and stock kernel?

can get original charger at good price from tskhor at garage. Just receive my 2 sets today. It looks 100% same as the charger in my Note II box. haven't start using it yet, will give comments after a few charge with it.

Go to samsung store and play with the real note 2 display unit, remember how it looks and its features like air view, multi windows etc, when cod try all features and test hardware with the code *#0*# or better cod in samsung store

In my case, my MBA and Windows laptop can't detect the mSD card also. But again, others' problems with theirs may not be the same as mine. Hence, they have to troubleshoot to get to the root of the fault.

There's so much U can do with the Note II !!!...Sketched this during my site visit to my new Condo...new kitchen cabinet in the making...heheheh

I think there is something wrong with my phone.
Disconnected this morning at 9.30am to answer a call then left my phone at home until 8pm.

Left on 47% of batt.

Your phone keep waking up. Check with BBS to see what app is causing it. Also seems your connection was not very good also. With data on in bad connection area batt juice can drain faster.
