The story was like this. I rooted my phone last week when it was 4.1.1 using the ExynosAbuse exploit and I checked the counter was still 0 but my Status was Modified so I can't update using OTA method.

Then I downloaded the latest Malaysia 4.1.2 firmware via Sammobile link this morning and the only way to update it is through Mobile Odin Pro. Before doing the upgrading I have backup my EFS (just for insurance). So I updated the new firmware using Mobile Odin Pro by enabling all the EverRoot Options. After the installation was done, I check the Status of my phone and I was surprise that it stated as Normal and to confirm I try OTA and it responded that I have the latest software update instead of can't updated due to Modified status....  

Mine is SME set from Maxis.

I got the latest firmware plus it is rooted and the Status is normal and can send to SC anytime....

read properly it is rooted with SuperSu installed and the status is Normal not Modified.

even though the counter is 0, but can we still send the device for warranty claim? even with SuperSu in your phone?

yup as long as the Status is Normal not Modified and counter is 0 and you can hide the SuperSU app...

guys... friend of mine told me after update to this firmware, his call not that clear, and ppl cant hear him talking .. .got such issue?

All, I read this happening before, but coz I started using the hotspot feature these few days, I see that when I get a call on the phone, the data connection goes off, and my wifi from the notebook shows disconnected.

So would this be fault of the radio or fault of maxis?

No, I mean, coz when you are using hotspot, the phone is a router accepting your wifi, and transmitting/rcv via the data connection.

When I get a call, my pc->Note2 wifi connection is still there, but the Note2->data connection is disrupted. It returns to normal after the call.

You mean you use your phone for wifi tethering? I use it daily with maxis and have no issue with data disconnection when call comes in.
