out of so many features that beat S3... only one thing missing in Note 2 is wireless charging.. =[

That sucks. Was he charging the phone overnight? Most cases of S3 sudden death happen after charging overnight..

Peace of mind, better spend a bit more for a reliable warranty.

I do feel 4.1.2 rom drain batt slightly more, but i still get about the same screen on time as 4.1.1 so there is no big deal here. Solution,
1) Go back to 4.1.1
2) STOP looking at the battery %. Use launcher like nova and hide the status bar.

My battery still going strong.
24hrs on battery with 7hrs screen time.
Web browsing, calls, media playing mostly.

AP sets are overseas units.

SME sets are local units approved to be sold here. The built quality are the same, just that some AP sets might be different models, our local units are GT7100 while some AP might be GT7105 (need clarification). 7105 are usually US units or Singapore units which can support LTE 

Only difference between AP and SME is the warranty and peace of mind. SME units can RMA at any Samsung service centres whiles AP units can only bring back to the shop which you've bought from

I got Note 2, when the phone just launch not long ago. Just a while ago, i try to browse internet using my phone via my home wifi. However, there no internet connection. I try connect using wifi for my laptop and other phone but working fine.

And when i switch to data, can connect back to the internet. So problem is the phone wifi. 

I wonder if anyone else have this problem ? Hope can share the solution here.

ipong 4+1 LTE frequency is different and does not have our band 2600MHz at all hahhaa so crapple will tell you just to wait for the updated model that supports this frequency and pay again for another one.
