no rewiring at all. the side steps is plug and playfor the centre console LED, and foot well. you have to buy your own LED, and some longer wires to extend it and connect it to the ISS socket

QUOTE(ascll @ Aug 25 2013, 08:18 AM) Hi ZeneticX, it's just plug and play. no need cut any wiresHow's the "auto lock"? Is it working perfectly as what the seller claims? For the installation, did it need to modify/cut any wires? working fine so far. unlock when gear shift to P, lock when gear shift to D. auto lock once ur car start moving if u manually unlock the doors, and auto unlock if you did an emergency braking. QUOTE(whitewhite @ Aug 25 2013, 11:39 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I saw this from Honda India. Their Honda City do come with cruise control. QUOTE(JaysonGoh @ Aug 25 2013, 07:59 PM) Haha I thought that before, but the different is I'm thinking that FD2 steering can directly fit with out City or not lol QUOTE(whitewhite @ Aug 25 2013, 08:15 PM) hehe this not very sure but the shape and type of the steering wheel that used by Honda just look similar shape and type the only difference is only the button switch maybe the steering is exactly the samebut problem is even if you want to take the cruise control module from FD2 and install into city it won't be easy as plug and play. FD2 and city are 2 totally different cars so they share diff ecu settings, and also the airbag would be another problem. in the end even if all can be done, the cost and workmanship won't be cheap |

QUOTE(whitewhite @ Aug 26 2013, 12:56 AM) haha i thought the CC module is just universal as the Honda steering wheel look the same, if i'm not mistaken Honda City in thailand do come with CC too but too bad malaysia version never include this good stuff maybe you can ask honda malaysia and see what they could do to help you or if you really wan cruise control and hassle free, get those after market module like this ![]() mind you this after market type controller also need RM700+ |

QUOTE(whitewhite @ Aug 26 2013, 01:07 AM) RM700+ hmm almost the price to install CC in FD 1.8 with OEM socket time to learn how to manually control the throttle If quote from honda the price surely will burn my pocket but seriously if you wan CC, that's the best choice. because if need to change the steering confirm need to mess with the airbag we can do any modifications with the car but best is to not tamper with any of the safety equipments |

QUOTE(babygrand123 @ Aug 27 2013, 10:07 PM) Hi City members : if you read the manual booklet (the smaller booklet, not the thick 1. the one with colour pictures)Anyone here encounter problem on parking sensor? I notice our city parking sensor can't detect whatever object below than 30cm which is very dangerous specially those parking bay with divider which is high risk for us to kiss the back bumper? Today went to SC for 1000km service and tech supervisor told me it can't be detected and he also demo this to another customer city as well and it really can't work !!! I really can't acceptable this than what is the use of 4 unit rear parking sensor for our city? I have no issue just 2 unit parking sensor at vios, wira, iswara, viva, altis, civic and many more.... Please share you own experience on the parking sensor here and thank you veru much. it will mention all the limitations of the parking sensor all i can say is get used to it and get to know your car more, knowing when to stop. or spend some money and get a reverse cam This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Aug 28 2013, 01:53 AM |

However my installer here said need wiring cut so until today I not plug any wire yet. Just stick it only mean without light. Any photo can show where wiring plug and play . there are two types of ISS out there. one is oem style which is plug and play (wont void warranty), another is 3rd party which need to cut wire. recommended to go for the OEM QUOTE(NeO2 @ Aug 31 2013, 04:15 PM) my car 4 years+ edi. the door rubber lining there got some stain marks which wont go away. interior still ok. door panels also got some stubborn stain marksif u put effort to take care of the interior it should be ok This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Aug 31 2013, 07:41 PM |

never use the onboard computer for your fc... that is just estimation
you need to do manual calculation if you want a precise value. fuelly.com will make the job easier This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Sep 11 2013, 08:49 PM |
