QUOTE(hollyfish @ Jan 17 2013, 01:43 PM) Mine coming from upper part of the CD player, this happens every time I drive through uneven roads. Already 2.5 years, already getting used to it. I reckon if you swap the stock CD Player with DVD touchscreen sure problem solved QUOTE(j45on @ Jan 17 2013, 09:35 PM) Hey guys, any one of you tracking your fuel consumption? I previously did it using Google Spreadsheet but then I found one of lowyat member using Fuelly (http://www.fuelly.com/). =D I've been wanting to try this, but too bad there's no app for it otherwise it will be super easy to do the data entry. Did you update the data when you get back to your computer every time?Edit: Here's mine, http://www.fuelly.com/driver/cdableu/city-e-series |

QUOTE(joelriez @ Jan 18 2013, 07:05 PM) My left light if i put on high beam it didnt turn on. Shud i go honda SC or any accessory shop will do? My car only 5months old. I think light bulb is considered awear and tear part so its not under warranty, but 5 month old is a bit too soon for it to spoilt.. maybe get them to check the fuse as well?QUOTE(mytaffeta @ Jan 18 2013, 11:27 PM) What brand produce this tire size? You really tempted me to replace my 50 profile tyre. haha. |

QUOTE(komando67 @ Jan 21 2013, 02:52 PM) Just want to share. Got my E Polished Metal on Oct which SA give me free full modulo bodykit+tinted+coil mat+door visor+steering lock. 1st thing i added to my ride is Lochtect brake lock for more security. Then bought Osram Night breaker plus since i drive a lot at night as realized stock osram bulbs are not really bright. Now reaching 5000km and just ordered K&N drop in air filter (some said to will make the car more responsive which i intend to drop it in after 5k km service). Btw just realized the power socket (cigarette socket) is not functioning after i tried to used car vacuum. Wait to check it during my 5k service. How is the Osram Night Breaker at night? I also find the stock bulb is quite dim at night, sometimes even need to check twice since its like I'm not turning the knob all the way to turn on the headlight Anyhow for 5k km service i just wondering whether to change to semi or fully synthetic engine oil. any suggestion? for RM40 eservice voucher. do we need to print on paper or just show my phone sms to SC? Do a review on the K&N filter once you have it installed yea I think just stick with semi-syn since we need to service every 5k anyway and not 10k. |

QUOTE(komando67 @ Jan 21 2013, 04:06 PM) Osram NBP is much better especially on high beam. the range is longer than stock bulb. on dark road u'll get clear vision. btw if im not think of warranty ill change engine oil outside with better engine oil. Thanks for the feedback, I'll add that to my next purchase list as I frequently travel at night as well.Yeah, pretty sure Honda will say it will void your warranty if you change engine oil outside. Maybe try and ask them if you can bring in your own oil? Last time using Swift, certain service centre will allow it. Not sure about Honda policy. |

QUOTE(hollyfish @ Jan 21 2013, 09:57 PM) Woah nicee, is that yours? I didn't realised that it was the City HU at first. lol. QUOTE(komando67 @ Jan 21 2013, 11:19 PM) Nope..just a bulbs..consider as wear & tear. NBP is the same type 55w bulb. I don't know how much of an improvement we can get from this since our car is pretty new, but whoever did install this please do let us know.. BTW just read about voltage stabilizer + Grounding cable. is it neccessary to install it on our car?since many testimonies vs and gc will improve your car electricity which then make your car smoother to ride, lights brighter, aircond colder, more fuel saving, better audio from speaker, and many more. anyone here has installed it? http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1289791 QUOTE(j45on @ Jan 22 2013, 07:32 AM) that's damn cool bro. Maybe test drive both car to help you decide.. Also do some research about after sales stuff like services centre location, cost for services, spare part, etc etc.. btw, out of topic. I saw someone posted about Ford fiesta here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2676982 the spec is comparable to city other than not having a gear shifter. other than that, can someone enlighten me the differences between this two car? I am feeling butthurt now... |

QUOTE(skylinegtr34 @ Jan 31 2013, 11:33 AM) Hi all, currently driving the latest 5.5G City. Are you still using the stock tyre? The car is known to have the wobbly feeling at 120kmph especially if you drive around windy area or if you overtake a lorry or something huge. You can do several thing to help stabilise the car.quite happy with all the driving , just lately i figured that when im travelling by North South highway, KL to Johor. when im doing 110-130km/h cruising, the car just wont go straight, there is a invisible force suddenly pull or drag your car to either right or left. Is there any problem? I try on normal highway i use to work, cruise at 110-130 as well, no problem. But this has happened so many times in NSE already. I strongly think that it is caused by the wind turbulences, everytime i pass by a car or a car pass by me by high speed, my car immediately feel unstable. Well, then i also try 150-160km/h on NSE, the invisible force comes again, this is really weird and i will check on my next visit to service. Any sifu here comment on this? Is this matter relates to any parts that related to Suspension? Bush? 1. Change to wider tyre (195/50) or (205/45).. take note this will reduce comfort.. butt hurt a bit. Haha. 2. Install the modulo bodykit and spoiler 3. Install anti oll bar (not sure which bar will help the most, got many type I think, sifu please correct me) 4. Do Autofoam treatment to chassis (autofoam.net) I did 1, 2 (just spoiler) and 4.. I can feel the car is more stable now at high speed but your mileage may vary. Feel free to correct me, not an expert but just from my experience. |

QUOTE(skylinegtr34 @ Jan 31 2013, 01:37 PM) wow bro! thanks for the info!! Quite well known I supposed.. got plenty of discussion about this in the previous v7 if I recall. Mostly because the stock tyre they provided is really tiny. I was referring to the 16", for 15" I'm not too sure. Issit already well known for wobbly feeling at 120kmph? and not my suspension problem ya? I've slightly upgraded my tyre to 185-60-15 Potenza tyre. for S spec 15 inch. your recommendation - 195-50 , 205-45 is refer to 15 inch or 16 inch bro? if 15 inch , any reocmmendation? for number 4- just my personal opinion - City chasis is stiff enough, i guess the problem wont be the chasis stiffness , it should be something to deal with the Air Turbulences so aerokit might work. The modulo kit might work well I think, I read it in one of the city forum before. It does provide more stability so its not just for show. My previous ride is all hatchback (satria, neo, swift) so maybe I'm not used with the wobbly feeling from a sedan? Quite noticeable when I first got the car, but now not too much.. not sure maybe I'm used to it. Hahaha. QUOTE(skylinegtr34 @ Jan 31 2013, 01:40 PM) |

Try and keep the 'ECO' light on for as long as you can I suppose. Haha.. if you cruise at 120km/h - 130km/h, the 'ECO' light should light up most of the time.

QUOTE(TenNix @ Feb 10 2013, 12:53 AM) http://www.honda.com.my/sales/newservicepackage/city/ Eh is this confirmed. New City got extended to 10k? I'm more than happy even with only 10k not 15k or 20k.. 5k interval I had to send almost every month.. Do we need a new booklet? Why Honda extend the in.terval from 5,000km to 10,000km, not 15,000km or 20,000km? As per stated in Shop Manual, the extension of service interval for new model is 10,000km. So does it mean that service interval of city is extended to 10k km? |
