Erm bro,

205/55/16 can fit our city? Will hit fender?

Btw the best is 195/60/15 ya? Haha abit scary la dunno wat tyre shuld i get for the best height, safety & comfort
*
I think 205/55/16 will hit fender and might not even fit properly with the stock 16" rim. 195/50/16 just nice but ride will be a bit bumpy since the stock is 185/55/16.

For 15" 195/55/15 is the best since got many choice hence the price is cheaper. I'm going with this for my next replacement.

Are you on 15" or 16" now? Stock rim?

Thinking to change rims also but same size coz of the tyre price & stock rims look bored, haha still dunno wat size, if u change dun forget to tepek gamba here ok? Tq

Rite now using stock tyre 175/65/15, too thin la huhu.
*
175 is way too thin for our car but with 65 profile damn comfortable ride? Haha.

If you don't plan to change rim, 195/60/15 should fit I think.. its the closest to your current set up so the speedometer will not differ much.

I will change, maybe before end of this year. Haha.

I found it in JB  around RM2.2k, not really sure. I will post the pictures by tomorrow. Available in modulo, mugen, and mugen rr. Three types. You may search online also maaa..

Well, i travel to sg work daily, sure take better tyres to get comfortably. PS3 is my first choice but cant fit. Thats y go for xm2.

Change to Eibach spring would not void the warranty?
*
What material is the kit? RM2.2k is quite steep though.

I drove more than 100km daily too.. that's why I want to find something a bit more comfy. So going for XM2 but 15" only la. biggrin.gif The 16" bloody expensive. sweat.gif

Hmm...i heard michelin is very quiet and comfortable but the tread wear is very high..for honda city the springs option quite alot but for abs no much option...for spring all i know is that Eibach and H&R is available...Eibach is quite comfortable and the drop is just nice...on the softer side thou..H&R is stiffer and the drop is fierce..try google to see the difference...quite happy with the eibach coz its not too uncomfortable..nice drop...and it wont cause ur stock abs to spoil...as for the performance side..every sport springs will do their job given its a known brand but the difference its the comfort only
*
I thought XM2 should last quite long according to Michelin. I'm using a cheapo Yoko Adrive R1 now.. already drove 25K on it, I think still got like 40% - 50% thread. It's a bit hard and noisy, maybe that's why.

Got sport spring that focus on comfort?

*
I was joking tongue.gif but I'm serious about needing to remove that reservoir. SC quote me RM10 to help remove, so I'm just going to get them to remove it for me and take out the stuff that fall inside it.

QUOTE(adrive @ Jul 1 2013, 10:16 PM)
hi guys was just wondering...owning a honda city, do you spend alot of maintenance fee?
*
On average, each regular service will cost about RM200-RM300 at 5k interval and this is using semi-syn oil. Major services can cost around 600 - to 1k.

Try and get the E if you can afford it, the extra features is really useful especially the traction control.

Or better the E+, got lcd screen, reverse camera, leather seat and tinted sommore brows.gif

Did my 30k service earlier this morning..

user posted image

I opt for Mineral oil and discard anything 'recommended' but optional stuff. Got free labour as well this time, so total is only around RM130 (see below why got extra RM30)

user posted image

Comparison between the old paper filter and the new cotton mesh filter biggrin.gif

user posted image

Obligatory sticker. Haha.

This stuff fell into my wiper water tank, they charge me RM30 to take this out since they have to take apart the front bumper to remove the tank. sweat.gif

user posted image

Moral of the story, be careful when refiling your wiper water tank and try not to let anything fall inside.

QUOTE(ahfad @ Jul 5 2013, 11:02 PM)
Winterwish, is it confirmed the k&n filter will not void the warranty? Im afraid if I installed it and later on SC will say warranty void and this sticker only applied on US country bla bla bla.

Interested to getting one bcuz my stock filter already stuck with lots of dust.
*
I can't give 100% confirmation as warranty is a subjective issue and differ from SC to SC, but earlier they want to include air filter in the list of stuff to change, but I don't them no need. They didn't say anything about it. I'm pretty sure its 95% okay to replace the air filter but if want to be safe, keep the old filter in the boot. If you want to send for warranty for engine related issue, just pop in the old filter back in. (unless you''re really unlucky they found out about the filter then nothing else to say.. haha)

BTW I think the original Honda cost RM89 or something. Have to replace every 30k or so.. might as well get the K&N. Just need to clean and re-oil, should last practically forever.

Wow bro..how did that big piece fall into ur tank man...haha..glad it came bak out or not sumbat kaokao..
*
Its not that big, about the size of the old 50 cent coin. Not possible to sumbat, but if I leave it there the rust might go inside the wiper line and spoil to motor or something. Don't want that to happen. Huhu.

I was contemplating to buy the Jazz Hybrid (similar price back then) but choose City due to the larger boot space. So I think people will still buy City due to that.

But this Jazz have better spec than the City S, got VSA summore. rclxms.gif

At 75k, we'll be seeing more and more of this little fella on the road soon. biggrin.gif

*
I don't think you can install at Honda, try accessory shop? Maybe have to replace the whole mirror.. might be expensive.. huhu. Don't think too much about it lah, just enjoy your ride smile.gif

Hi Guys, for City 2012E, the car door will not automatically locked whenever brake is stepped or driven 20km/h+?

Is there a way to enable that without voiding the warranty?

2012 City has no "sound" when lock and unlock, to install one how much it costs roughly?
*
Have a look here. for the auto lock add-on.

Not sure about the sound when lock/unclock..but if install won't it sound weird since our car when lock it flashes the signal 3 times, so if got buzzer, it goes beep beep beep as well. Haha.
