Just back from Gunung Irau, Cameron ...wah,really worth to go..LOTR feel..really really nice..mossy forest ..i think cant see it from other mountains...u all shld go !!!! thumbup.gif

my classmates and I are doing a reforestation project in cameron highlands. details as follow:

date: 22nd & 23rd March 2008
price: RM 150 per pax
inclusive:
transport KL-Cameron-KL
one night stay at budget hostel
steamboat dinner
lunch
breakfast
tree sapling
transport from tanah rata to planting site @ gunung berinchang
certificate
potted plant as souvenir

this project is jointly organized by Taylor's School of Hospitality & Tourism, students of Batch 21/22 Bachelor in Tourism Engineering & Management with R.E.A.C.H.

yup....jus been there last month...fantastic mossy forest...so beutiful.. words cant discribe it...be prepare for muddy, if can wear the kampong adidas coz ur shoe will get into mud..is hard to wash it...bring along hiking stick (is very useful) .. we took 8 hrs to finished the trail coz spent too long for photos shooting..haha....yah dun forget to bring ur camera, cant see those scenery in other mountains...

According to rangers there, RM150 per entry, irregardless of group size? hmm.gif
