just DIY seal the aircon intake vent by sponge. Imagine it act as external air filter.

Been meaning to change or customize my rear plate number holder.

Should I:

1. Just apply the normal black papan with custom fonts or
2. Apply black papan, but potong follow the outline shape or
3. Apply DIY sticker with flow of shape outline and just double tape fonts onto sticker

I'd do number 3 but the holes would get in the way after bukak and applying sticker. Or is there a shop that can do number 3 without DIY'ing?

No, no glue involve. Just alot of sponge and squezee in the hole, it will hold firmly. You need 5-6 pieces of car wash sponge to seal it, the hole is big.

if i`m not mistaken that hole let go the engine heat... if stuck with sponge then wouldn`t it be very hot for the engine ? or lets say its a aircon intake vent... wont it be harder to suck air in ?

Added on December 31, 2012, 6:02 pmthat hole is nothing to do with engine heat release. It purely act as aircon intake vent whenw e choose air circulation from outside. about the problem is the design let alot of dirty air aka smell from outside even we choose internal circulation. I have no choice but seal it with sponge, if not effective, i will just seal with insufflex next time.
