Thanks for ur reply locomotion. Well,yesterday the worst hitted me where my V3i directly reset when i was shiok shiok typing my SMS msg. Bugger, wasted my time typing that sms where it's not saved also. Sigh! Anything which i can do to upgrade its software? Please help guys as i'm seriously new to Motorola phones. Tenkiu very muchie!

can anyone help me out abt hw to upgrade motorola v3 firmware..i meant (flash)..?i wana knw the steps and softwares that used in process..juz bought v3..a new user..so i duno hw to do it..

just bought and wanna flash new firmware? hehe ... check ur firmware first .. is it newer or older version ... can try check it by pushing this button #*9999# .. then check it here ...

I just bought a Motorola RAZR v3xx.
Is the software for v3xx the same as motorola V3x?
The only skin i have is Indium and Disco, kinda bored with the skin now. So i wanna put newer and much more cooler skin in my phone. Any guide? or it is the same as the 1st guide for V3x?

I purchased two RAZR phones over two years ago and have never had a problem with either of them. Technology moves too fast to keep up so comparing this phone to current phones is like comparing my laptop to my first tandy computer. My RAZR's did and have done everything I purchased them to do.

My V3 S/W version is R374_G_OE.42.10R_A
Flex version is GSMV3xxT674SV15B

How come is not in the list??
Is this an old firmware?

heya, i'm used to mod e398, so i'm new to V3i, can u help me?
firstly i want to know that if there is a firmware flash that
i can download and flash to my v3i that are similliar to e398?
what i mean is for e398 there is a lots of MP that i can flash
and it will turn on a new feature on the phone, i tried to search
but i cant seem to find a MP.

And i would like also to know on how to blacklist or restrict call,
on my e398 there is a feature that i can use to restrict call to
phonebook only, meaning that any number that is not regist
in my phonebook would not be able to call me.
i would like to know how to do this on my v3i.

can you help me on this please?

my V3i always hang for a while. have to wait until the phone refresh before can continue. any solution are highly appreciated.
another question, anyone doing the software flashing and modding? prefer KL area. willing to pay around rm50 for the service.

Nop, can't block any number. The restrict call function means that you can put/request a password in order to make certain call.

you can block incoming calls now with some RSA removal and cg1 patching(v3i).. i personally never tried it but it sounds cool..

Added on December 17, 2007, 10:04 pmu cant save that much into your inbox.. limit is 100 only... but wif some hacks u can store the sms into your microSD and recover them back anytime into your inbox.. kinda backup thingy....
