Was it for Biz Class? Few months ago i bought KUL - LAX return tix for 4 Pax (including 1 infant) for total less than RM11K. Using China Airways I think which my wife said pretty decent, and that was a good deal.

My Citi PremierMiles been charged for annual fee rm600.
CS told me credited 10K point to my acc, and to offset rm600, I need 30K point to do so,

However, she claimed that 10K point is equivalent or better than rm600 if I claim for airline miles etc 

totally cannot understand the logic ...why I need take my own 20K point to offset the rm600....

and citi miles - 30K point... really no idea what can I do with it..really > RM600?

Of course not....it all or nothing.... problem is, most people can't get enough points to redeem enough miles to get long haul j tickets....you can of course redeem y class or short haul j....but it's not as attractive as long haul j.....

Thanks limeuu, i planning to travel european countries. Too bad as i check enrich miles, if i just using miles (without cash) to redeem tickets, it only offer 1 destination in Europe, which is London.

As for Krisflyers/Asiamiles, they offer more European destination but relatively need more miles.

Have 600k uob points likely converting to asia miles rather than enrich since the system is probably less usefull. Aa miles book kl to london is 90k miles can choose British airways premium seats. Economy seats 70k. That is a good deal considering economy on ba is bout 3k rm premium is 8k or 9k value. Business will be 140k aa which is a huge jump.

Using aa miles to redeem mas flights also always cheaper than using enrich. Seriously no point to collect enrich miles anymore. Sadly for malaysian its another reason not to support your own flagship.... Just too very bad
I probably have 20k miles in enrich which will forgo or just let it burn.. If lucky enough to book 1 way flight then end the chapter with enrich

They ain't that tbh. And you usually find MAS price higher than AM or KF for flight depart from Kul is something very common. Other forumer had explain it before, it is sales strat.

Recently just got into the airline miles game.
Read thru the first few page and still couldnt decide which card is better for me.

Currently I'm holding CIMB Enrich Platinum cc, but rm4 for 1 enrich mile seems like it will take forever to gather the required point for flight redemption.

My salary p.a. is less than 80k tho, any sifu can recommend some other CC and also other extra tips to collect points?

I will be travelling one or twice each year tho.

MAS is selling Enrich Miles for 1 Enrich Mile = USD0.025 = RM0.10
Even with a 30% discount, that's 1.3 Enrich Mile = RM0.10
Even for Business Class redemptions, it's not likely you'll get 1 Enrich Mile to be worth > 7.7 cents.

Hahaha...overlook at rm0.025 instead of usd0.025 😂
