log into your enrich account, and try make a booking....miles needed may vary, flight to flight, and day to day....

you need to:

1. convert you cc points to miles via your bank....

2. once miles credited, then make bookings via your enrich account....either online or call centre....no discount for online redemption any more....

Redeem for a domestic golden lounge entry....

Downside to the new 330 business seats is the poor leg room when flat....Making it difficult to move/turn body when sleeping....

Without the online 15% discount, it's very expensive, and I suspect you will get better deals with asiamiles or oneworld with Japan airlines....No fuel surcharge to/from Japan....

Is it only me? Trying to access the mas website defaulted to the mobile site, which is useless....

The premium on business redemption used to be small .... sometimes less than double economy....

Now it becomes very expensive to redeem business.... double to 3 times economy.....

For people with limited miles....used to be still possible to redeem j as just need to pay some money....now with miles and cash, with the same miles, you need more cash to redeem....

You cannot redeem to destinations not serviced by mh using the online website....

Didn't know the use 330 to Kuching again?....they took off the 330 service after the then new 737-800s arrived....

I am keeping my points in reserve and wait to see how this devaluation will work out....never used asiamiles, but if they are cheaper, may convert to asiamiles instead....

Only thing, cannot do online redemption onto mh....which is still the easiest and fastest way to Oz.....

it's buggy as hell....the enrich website links you to a booking site, which looks like the normal site....

it says you will have choice to use miles or cash to pay, at the end...but come payment page, there is NO options to pay with miles...

seems to me, basically, they "moneytise" the miles.....then use the normal booking system to price the trip in money...and at the end, they convert the money into miles....

and the last part is missing....

this means there is no allocation of redemption seats like before...and your miles required will go up as fare go up....

also, it means it's NOT worth business redemption anymore.....in the past, you can use double (or even less) your miles to redeem business, over economy, which normally cost 4 times more....now you need 4 times more miles...

There are many bugs in the new booking sites...details of the business flex vs smart fares, for example, are tabalek....

one cannot change the class when viewing options available...must return to the start page, which does not capture you last search, and you need to reenter all the info again....

Now I can sheck the miles conversion....i get 17 miles /RM equivalent....

I also could not see yesterday, but today, there is a section at the payment page asking if you want to use miles to pay, you click yes, and the sliding scale shows up....

i am getting a consistent 17miles to rm1...so i think that's the conversion rate....

also, you can only redeem for d and above business class....and some sectors, you cannot see d fare as by default they only show z fare....you will not be able to use miles for that....if it's mixed, ie one way d and other way z, then only the d component will show up for redemption with miles....

trying out mel redemption, comparing with what i did last year, i used about 50k miles (15% discount online) and pay rm700+....if i slide the scale to pay the same amount, i now need 60+k miles....so yes, there is depreciation...
