My car wont detect my key if I putting it together with my iphone (in same pant pocket) or holding in same hand . I think there are interference of signal .

Can try d.. Sister test drive car. I go to bank. She go pusing a few road to come back to bank as jam. Tried 10km without key. No problem.

Just once stop. Can't start back car.

yea i mean on ht edoor handle, but i used to gentle Slap on it...haha

confirmed cannot lock , it will beep , this is always happen when I wash my car ...... throw the key inside the car then start washing , when water pressure spray or touch the handle , it will beep and not locking the door .

There is another experience , a passenger inside my car with engine running , and i go down the car with key , the passenger lock the door , I cant unlock the door from outside even with the key .

I tried to floor the gas paddle from a moving motion (30km/h), the thing i notice is that you wont get the sudden surge of acceleration like you normal car, you will hear you petrol engine giving you the vroom sound but the speed is steadly increase. This action actually burn more petrol but delivers less energy to the car.

As for the response whether if it is electric or engine or both, it depends. But in the end, if the gas paddle is hold to the floor, the end indicator will be engine

lol ^^ . Sorry.. as first back in forum. Been using other language for work and daily life which make me almost forgot how to built sentence in proper English.

Yes, you can drive without the key as long the engine is switch on.

Once switch off, you can't switch it back on without the key.

So to note is always keep note whether the engine is stop when you step off the car. As you can't lock it as beeping sound will kick in.

I think my sis just lost my prius key
He start the engine at home..either
Left the key..at bonet.. Drive 30km.. Make a stop at destnation
Realise icon key not detected prompt at dashboard..
