QUOTE(konbawa @ Sep 2 2013, 10:53 AM) hi, my pc having some problem with the pick up recently, Have you done anything on the floor carpet recently like add on a layer of rubber met? Check and see if the carpet is thick and block the pedal.its like hard/non-responsive/delay when i try to pick up or speed up. more obvious when the speed reaches >100km/hr. (PC used for 2 month and previously no prob. ) is anyone feeling anything same? or izi becz of the gas i pump? |

QUOTE(keanutan @ Sep 2 2013, 08:05 PM) Use toyota semi syn do not use fully syn viscosity higher on fully syn . Semi also thick but that the only option from umw . Hybrid best on 0W40 . And as smliu ask did u change To thicker carpet our throttle is super sensitive . If add on a layer of thick carpet, it will block the pedal and there will be limitation to the speed. hence throttle will not be opened fully. This happened to my previous car, original carpet is too thick....no matter how the pedal is pressed, the car just won't go to top speed. I modified it and it performed well. |

QUOTE(konbawa @ Sep 3 2013, 11:08 AM) Take a look at the underneath pedal, you will find a plastic protruded downward. This is the speed limit gauge. So the coil carpet should not block the gauge. Simply cut out 2 in square from the coil carpet to avoid obstruction to the gauge. See if this will help. |

QUOTE(alcali @ Oct 2 2013, 07:52 AM) glad to hear this. thanks alot Do not compare Japan engine oil as weather is not the same. 0W20 is not suitable for our country weather. SC will provide optimum engine oil.btw....going for my first service tomorrow. i read some comment on prius c fb page that umw sc is not using the best suitable engine oil as compared to what is stated in toyota japan website, Ow20. is this true ah? |

I am sure Toyota is going to have PC local assembled in order to compete with the local assemble Jazz Hybrid. Further more 2014 improved Jazz Hybrid fc is better than current PC with bigger size and better shape. Jazz is selling like hot cake in Japan now.

QUOTE(Mclaren @ Oct 8 2013, 11:03 PM) thanks for sharing... Waxing won't spoil the paint but polish will do. Waxing is to add a layer of wax on top of the lacquer and wax will act as 1st layer of protection.wash is ok...but waxing....... when i collect my car,the SA said waxing will make the paint thinner & not advisable to do it....true ka? |

QUOTE(dc28yk @ Oct 10 2013, 04:05 PM) You need to car about how you wash your car.. not as simple as wax.. Correct, washing indeed very technical. The cloth used my be very very clean; free from dust. But no matter careful we are, there will be swirl mark and scratches. Hence, I have done coating on my own(Manquer Coating). Now when I spray water, the dust on the surface will wash away easily before I wash my car. After washing, I spay a layer of Manquer Liquid Wax. I am trying to maintain the surface as original as possible. Nice to see the mirror shin surface of my Pearl White PC!coz if u wax and wash outside.. no use.. |

Those are plug in hybrid, which next generation Prius has this feature. Not available in Misa yet. http://www.toyota.com/prius-plug-in/#!/Welcomehttp://www.theguardian.com/environment/gre...g-plug-in-prius |

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Oct 11 2013, 01:44 PM) I always wash my car at one shop where located nearby South city, Ser Kembangan. My car was shinny after been washed from the shop..Wax + Wash only RM38 + good services..highly recommended Nice! Hard to find good shop. Now, I only go to Meguiar for car wash as the boss told me all staffs have to go to HQ for training for all Meguiar shop. From what I see, they wash the car and vacuum very details and with care. I like the service very much. Anyway, I will go for car wash when I am lazy; most of the time car wash is done by myself. This post has been edited by smliu: Oct 11 2013, 07:44 PM |

QUOTE(cyang @ Oct 21 2013, 09:38 AM) Hi all. I'm in the midst of getting new PC due to its 8k rebate. Anyone face difficulties/problems in driving PC? Toyota paint is very good especially CBU. Color is personal preference. Mine is Crystal White; the Crystal rainbow color can only be seen when you shine torch light on it.Btw, I'm still not decide which color should I choose. Silver, aqua mica or dark blue? Any owner of these colour can comment? I went to showroom, they only have orange which I don't like. I found the image from google too nice to be believe. I scared it will be deviate from the actual seen color.. Thank you. |
