QUOTE(RegistraCHAN @ Nov 5 2013, 12:05 PM) Yap... This is too much. We can buy very good Bosch filter <RM100. I bought 3 pcs "no brand" carbon filter for RM60 only. Can affort to change every 2~3 months. This thing can easily get from Lowyat forum site. I must put up a label "Do not change the filter" at the filter site in case forgot to tell them during servicing.Part Number 8713952040 and i'm the only one here been charge with it at SC,... Each 20K Service ![]() hopefully my 40K service, i got to avoid it |

QUOTE(smliu @ Nov 5 2013, 06:03 PM) I got it from this site: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1770841&hl=. So so quality. The filter I bought from the 1st link, so called "no brand" actually made by Denso. The material used is the same as Toyota original but less fold, almost half of the original. According to seller, the filter is expected to change every 6 months. When I took out the original filter(about 5000km), it is filled with dust. With this cheap version, I can afford to change it every 6 months.Bosch aircon filter: `1) https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...hl=bosch+filter. 2) https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ch+filterBetter quality The choice is yours. I bought from 1st link b4 coming to know the 2nd link. I prefer the Bosch filter. Remark: if can afford, go for better quality one. This post has been edited by smliu: Nov 6 2013, 09:20 AM |

QUOTE(FormalCat @ Nov 8 2013, 05:24 PM) Likewise, just touch the out side of the handle, the door will close. I feel this feature is the best, i am impressed. Of course, can use remote control to open/close. Hope you will enjoy the drive soon. |

Anyone has the correct amount of Prius c wind screen replacement installed? I want to get insurance for wind screen but agent quote me RM2500 and premium is RM375. I remember there was a thread talking about wind screen replacement is RM1500. Anyone has the confirmed information? What is the cost for wind screen plus complete installation? Thank you.

QUOTE(pru_ann @ Dec 27 2013, 10:50 AM) Hello... I got my windscreen replaced at RM1600 (not w/ Toyota SC tho). My agent quoted me around RM2400 (Toyota SC) or less, but the windscreen insurance will cover maximum RM2500. So if u get ur windscreen cheaper, u can actually claim RM2500 and keep the remaining balance after u've paid for ur windscreen. Thank you and thank Keanutan. Got it. |

QUOTE(hannan @ Jan 27 2014, 12:02 AM) may i ask any of u guy..which size of wheel is maximum for prius c? i would love to change to R17 alloy wheel..is it good per ratio weight and performance of the car..sorry just want it to look cooler.. According to tire pro, it is not advised to enlarge the rim size for hybrid car. The reason is when starting to move the car, it is driven by electric motor. Increasing the rim/tire diameter will burden the electric motor and cause the damage of the motor. If this happen, Totoya or any car company will not responsible for any claim of such motor if they find the different size of rim. |

QUOTE(Phc @ Feb 18 2014, 12:53 PM) Sure. False alarm only. Because you self service your own car. Thats why the master light will come out after a certain km. If you send your car to them service, around 40k km , they will do whole diagosis for you, and automatically remove the service interval warning message. You car itself think your have not been to diagosis, so your car scare and all warning light come up. As what I said in the 1st . Anyone knows how to reset the service warning light? |
