Hi juichuan,
It's been a long time since I took a peek at the Travel & Living branch. Not sure if you remember me. Was very busy and at 40 yrs old, life is catching up on me fast. Glad to see that you're still rafting, climbing and powering this branch.
"Hashing" is an act of running in the countryside. People who does that are called "Hashers"; for example arthurlwf. In Malaysia, there's a joke that says ... hashers are beer drinkers with a running problem. No offence, it was a tradition passed down from colonial English who drink after running.
Arthurlwf, do you drink ? Ha ha.
I trek the jungle every weekend but I don't consider myself a hasher because I do it alone. Hashers do it in a group, club like.
hahaha.. you're right, majority of the hasher are beer drinkers with running problem
For me, i choose to drink 100+... but sometimes drink 1 or 2 bottle per month
The reason i enjoy hashing is because its a consistent trekking \ running weekly activity to natures.
And you get to go around KL / Selangor jungle ..
I've been to Lagong, Melawati Hill, Saga Hill, Venice Hill, Cheras Hartamas Hill, Penchala Link Hill, Sri Bintang Hill, KIP Hill, Semenyih jungle, Bentong jungle, Ulu Yam jungle, Ampang Reserve forest/hill, Puchong Kinrara Hill, Kota Damansara Hill, a hill nearby UIM, Ulu Klang jungle and not to forget PJ Gasing Hill...hmmm still got more places but cannot remember already...
