vey99, how much u bought this "Hauppage PVR150MCE", comes with microsoft remote rite?

i am lookin for tv tuner, what is the best choice for mce?

Hauppage PVR150MCE is about RM290 in allit and sricomp. the remote is the older version.

@jchue- i am still studying on new lcd... My hall is too small to put 46.
@oxch- my pvr150 cost me 388 back then, oem box. The retail one was 499. But i love the remote, solid and good.

Latest update, just back from LYP, Hauppage Win MCE 150 RM299 at SRI COMPUTERS !, comes with remote, IR blaster ! FULL BOX (but i didnt buy)

i got my 250w mini-ITX PSU on Friday. but processor not yet! arrggghh, so once processor come in, my HTPC will be almost complete.

Nono, I saw the price was 299, but I didn't buy it, lol.

It was actually for my uncle, he's not ready for TV Tuner yet, some other time, just that I wanted to update you guys with the price.

Anyway, the TV Tuner (hauppage 150) uses pci slot, I think I know how it works (but i didnt buy it)

You connect astro output to the tv tuner input, then the IR blaster to the IR port on the astro, then configure it according to this.

noob question here:

I wish to build a HTPC to record Astro using TV tuner connecting the output cable,
so can I still watch directly from Astro machine (S-video cable still intact from astro to TV) without turning on the HTPC?

i'm buiding a htpc too.. and currently i'm eyeing intel's G45 ITX board..

damn.. its not in malaysia yet

me also waiting that 1 .... flying creek, but I found zotac come out a ITX also ... rm 280 like tat, no DVI/ HDMI ...... no optical output also ~ but support 45nm peryn wow ...
