The price is not bad at all, considering that it includes a copy of Vista Home Premium. BTW, does anyone know how to configure Astro to work with the HTPC?
PC Audio HTPC, anyone doing this?

Is it based on the new G45 chipset? As far as I can tell, the P45 is already in, so I suppose it should be already in. Have a look at LYN's pricelists.

If can, Windows MCE 2005/2006 If not, Windows Vista Home Premium. Otherwise, MediaPortal is a freeware. |

QUOTE(jeromeccm @ Jul 16 2008, 06:28 PM) my HTPC Agree that ATi cards give better color reproduction if compared to nVidia cards. AMD X2 4800+ Biostar TF-7050 M2 Kingston Value Ram DDR667 2G 500GB + 200GB HDD ATI 3650 512 Silent Type Pioneed DVD writer Lian Li Cube Aluminium HS(Black box) Server PSU (suitable for 24hrs) 32" Sharp LCD A33 series. Watch HD movie mostly.. FYI: I notice the ATI card gives better picture quality after some setting and tweaking on the CCC setting... any comment? |

QUOTE(jumajuma @ Jul 18 2008, 07:19 PM) just bought this remote.. using postage. working great with vista ultimate. Nice remote. Which xqbox are you using? It does look good, and the price is nice as well.http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=662901&hl= p/s.. any recomendation of a good htpc casing? currently using xqbox but the space very cramped. planning to add second tv tuner and graphic card. xqbox casing suck.. even my frontpanel cannot fit because no space for cable routing. |

8600GT should be enough. Anything more needs extra power cables. I'd recommend an 8600Gt, which can be bought for less than RM300 now.
